We had such a great time! Tons of laughs and the proceeds went to charity
There was hockey fun along the lines of an All Star game. Lots of goals and entertaining celebrations, interviews, and antics. Penalties were served by penalty shots only, one of which was a goalie vs. goalie penalty shot. Lots of fun, bring your camera and video recording equipment! Many Blackhawks fans were there. It was like an old school game vs. Detroit, with chants of 'Detroit Sucks' started up.
Great job guys, the night was fun and for a great cause. Keep up the great work.
What a fun event. Hockey during the lockout, and with great players for a great charity. Many thanks to the players and organizers. Our family had a great time.
With the lockout, it was great to see some hockey! It was a lot of fun, had a great time, didn't know the players were such comedians!!!!!
Awesome time! So happy to see some of our favorite players again! Very entertaining and fun!!
The event was great. Really enjoyed the hockey and the wonderful meaning behind the festivities.
So much fun watching the boys play hockey again and just have some fun.
My family and some close friends had the best time. We were so happy to see some of the 2010 Championship Blackhawks again. Many thanks to Adam Burish for setting up such a great event for such a worthy cause!
The most fun I have had in awhile. The players got involved with the crowd. Wished the Chicago Team would have won..... but it still was great seeing some of my favorite players. I MISS HOCKEY..... especially BLACKHAWKS HOCKEY!!!!!
So much fun....and felt good it was for a great cause....would do it again in a heartbeat!!! A great night out!!!!!
Seeing hockey again in Chicago was such a treat, and the players did NOT disappoint! It was a night of having fun, joking around, and forgetting about the lockout for one fantastic night. It was probably the most fun I've had at a hockey game and definitely the funniest game I've ever seen. ~12,000 fans, who raised $300,000+ for this great cause, proved that we live for hockey here in Chicago, and we fully support our players. Definitely a night I will NEVER forget!
I enjoyed the game of hockey, there where none of the goon tactics or cheap shoots as seen at a regular NHL game. The players showed us what a good clean game of hockey could be like. The guys gave us a great shown and everybody had fun for a worthy cause and the fans cause of seeing the guys play (NHL lock out withdrawal. NO regular season games). They should have thus type event in ALL the NHL cities to continue fan interest plus allow the players to thank the fans for their continued support.
It was a good experience watching the competitiveness of the athletes. It was an even better experience to see all of the proceeds presented to the charity. Ronald McDonald House is such a worthwhile cause and deserves the support.
I think this event should travel to various cities.
This was an AMAZING game. Not only was it a hockey game, but it was fun and exciting game to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House. The Ronald McDonald House has been very helpful for my family, so I'm happy I was able to go and make a donation. The players made the game so enjoyable to watch by just having fun and getting anyway with things you know they couldn't do in a normal NHL game, like Burish's Slap Shot goal strip tease or the goal celebratory chest bump or the canoe row. The "fight" between car bomb and Ryan Dempster. Robbie Gould throwing in the red flag to challenge a play. It was an overall fun, exciting, and relaxing game!!!!
What a great night of hockey, for a great cause. Glad I went.
So much fun to see some of the 2010 Hawks on the ice together. They had so much fun, as did the crowd, while raising an amazing amount for charity. A good idea, in just 3 weeks, turns into $323K for Ronald McDonald house!
A GREAT GAME. Cant wait for the lockout to end!!!!!
Great chance to see the guy's up close playing for fun. Hilarious watching 'Car bomb' Carcillo diving into the Hawks bench to 'fight' Coach Ryan Demptser. The coach dressed as Herb Brooks was classic.
