the main boxing match did not happen due to the boxer not passing his drug test. we went to see the main event and were extremely dissapointed. they should refund my money. I purchased six tickets for my husbands birthday and was not happy about the result. we purchased $52.00 seats so i paid over $380.00 for that event. it was very dissapointing. If a fighter does not pass a drug test it is not my fault and I should be refunded my money.

Rating: 3 out of 5 Good product marred by clowns
by LVMattie on 12/21/10Target Center - MinneapolisI was extremely excited to attend the boxing last Saturday. Having lived in Las Vegas for quite some time, I really learned to enjoy the excitement of live boxing- at any level. The fights and "product" was well done. Good variety and quantity of bouts. What ruined it for me, to a certain degree, was the preponderance of East St. Paul fans and trainers. There was a certain biker-gang feel to some of the contingency, which at a couple points appeared to nearly result in altercations with any other fan contingency not supporting the "East side". This type of nonsense would prohibit me from bringing my kids, or even my wife back in the future. I know it's hard to screen out certain elements, but it seemed to me that the promoter was encouraging it.

Rating: 2 out of 5 Locals v. Tomato Cans
by fxtoole on 11/22/10Mohegan Sun Arena - UncasvilleWith the exception of the female bout and the Matt Remillard fight, most of this card wasn't competitive. There wasn't any in-house televised replay or tight camera shots on monitors (to see what exactly happened to Irrizary, for instance) and there weren't any printed cards even. Went to watch the HBO fight after, and couldn't find it anywhere in the casino.
