The softball game was uneventful. Dierks and Lauren were the only entertainment of the morning. It was extremely hot so we couldn't sit in our seats. We went because it was for a good cause but I'm not sure we would go again due to the weather.
Jake Owen was awesome, fast and funny. wonderful event

Great venue to host the game, great opportunity to get pictures and autographs from some of your favorite stars, affordable price for a fundraiser ticket.
This year's game was held Saturday morning. I would hope that in the future City of Hope moves it back to Monday night. The artists are able to hang around a little longer after the game & it isn't as hot. I love how the artists are there & having fun during the entire game. Will be back next year. It would be nice if the map for seats would label the sides for the teams so people could pick accordingly.
The game was great, the stadium was awesome and the celebrity players were wonderful. I enjoyed every minute of the game and my visit to Nashville! City of Hope and Greer Stadium did a fantastic job for a great cause!
I love this game. I go every year. You get to see stars being ordinary people. Joking around, playing ball and having fun. Also, sometimes you can score autographs from the players! :)
The site was fantastic!!! Using the triple- A baseball stadium as the venue gave the fans an up close look at the stars. Scotty & Lauren from American Idol were the stars of the show. Autographs were obtainable, with some effort. If you go next year, make sure you take this event in.
They move the softball game from a night event to a day event, way to HOT to be sitting in the stands in the beating sun in 90 degree weather. Also, less amount of "A" list STARS played this year.
This event was the best! You get to see the stars up close and personal. They are having a great time and joking around with each other. It was for a great cause and was well worth sitting out in the heat!!
This was my first time to attend this event. I enjoyed it tremendously and will definitely attend it again next year. It was something different to do and see the stars in a different light. Good times and lots of laughs!!
Softball game was alot of fun. It was our first time i would suggest that everyone go at least once. The stars were having agood time, it was like we were one big family. Only thing it was very hot and no shade. The kids got to meet scotty and lauren that was there highlight. Mine was seeing VINCE GILL ,at his young age he did a great job. Jake Owen and Dierks Bently kept us all laughing.Great line up of players. I'm proud of all who gave their time to play to raise money for the CITY OF HOPE., Two thumbs up to you all. Great Job
I was kicking myself for getting tickets because we got home so late and getting up early was not easy, but OH SO WORTH IT!!!!!! It was just all around fun and everyone was just having fun and not worring about who won. Of course I loved Scotty and Loren being there as I have watched Idol and they were both my favorites from the git go. I was really impressed at the catches Vince Gill made and of course some of the guys really could hit that ball out there. I loved it when the little girl was able to fun the bases. I am a victim of cancer but have been cancer free for 3 years and going strong.
Celebrity Softball Challenge is such a great cause. The game was alot of fun, and very entertaining.
ENJOYED A GOOD GAME AND ALL PROCEEDS GO TO CHARITY AND THATS EVEN BETTER. HAD A GOOD TIME BUT TO TO HOT. COUNTRY STARS ARE SO WONDERFULL, THEY ARE HELPING OUT FOR CHARIETIES AND AND GIVING BACK TO FANS AND HELPING VICTIMS FOR CANCER, TORNADOS AND FLOODS ECT. GAME SHOULD BE MOVED BACK TOMONDAY NIGHT.
We enjoyed the game and look forward to attending next year.
The whole festival was great, and the softball game only added to the incredible weekend we just got home from. Loved every second (despite the 100 degree heat wave) whether it was at the softball game, riverfront, the convention center, lays stage, the bars, or LP Field. Great weekend!! Definitely coming back next year for round 3 :)
It was alot of fun to see the stars in a different element. I now know Dierks Bentley is quite a comedian! I am glad the day was moved so I'm sure more people were able to attend. On the negative side, 9am is early after a late night, but who expects to sleep anyway. And I would like to put in a request for next year to turn on the air conditioner, it was awfully hot! Hope to see you all next year.
The weather played a big bearing on the ballgame. It was too Hot!! 96' The players seem to have fun but all in all it was too hot to have too much fun.
Loved seeing my favorite country stars clown around together on the ball field. Many of them signed autographs willingly. :)
