Carrie Underwood is an American country singer, songwriter and actress who launched her stellar singing career with the fourth season win of FOX network's reality show American Idol. Carrie Marie Underwood was born in 1983 into an idyllic childhood spent playing outdoors on the family farm, listening to country music, singing at her church and performing at local events such as Old Settler's Day in Checotah. After high school, she majored in broadcast journalism at Northeastern State University in her home state of Oklahoma. It was during her senior year that she auditioned for American Idol, a move that would propel her toward her dream of becoming a professional singer. Her debut album Some Hearts shot to multi-platinum, and her powerful and evocative 2006 ACM award-winning single, "Jesus Take the Wheel," garnered her international acclaim and sealed her fate as one of country music's brightest superstars. Talks about the pickup truck and how neat that was and all her sparkly shoes. Good crowd of people, seats were great and daughter, granddaughter and myself had a night we will not forget!! SUGGESTION: They should carry children's t-shirts, we still putchased one but a little big!!

I am normally not a country music fan, but Carrie's performance and musical talent changed my mind. The open acts were wonderful and the stage works were fun and exciting. I got a kick when Carrie came out flying around in her Blue Pickup truck. Lots of fun - You should go see it and have fun!!!!

by smithh on 10/27/10St Pete Times Forum - TampaI expected to be entertained by Carrie's voice and songs, but I never thought I would be in total awe of such a young performer who just started 5 years ago. I think she is by far one of the country music's BEST. She is so humble and really doesn't know how excellent an entertainer she is. She had so much interaction with the audience in between songs with her story telling and stories from her past that I felt like I was visiting her and she sang some songs inbetween chatting. Her sets were great, her band is also superb. The costume changes didn't interfere at all with her performing. As usual her outfits were classy-she is such a professional. Her opening acts were also very good especially Billy Currington, who is FANTASTIC.

The stage setting, costume changes and even a flying pick-up truck made for an entertaining event. Her demenor and performance was well within the perimeters for a 'family' show.

I love music and go to many concerts throughout the year. This was hands down the best!! Her voice is magical and God given. Her performance is flawless and so refreshing to watch. She is the whole package.....an amazing artist, performer, voice of an angel, down to earth, beautiful, & wholesome. Her band was great, the stage and all the effects where beautiful. I'm so happy i had the chance to see her in concert!

I walked out thinking that we recieved our moneys worth. The show was worth every dime that was paid. I know that when ever Carrie comes back to Tampa we will be there again.

Although she had several costume changes her show flowed flawlessly! the stage was beautiful and we enjoyed all the videos of her growing up. We were seated under the blue truck as it came around the arena...fun stuff!

BILLY CURRINGTON COULDN'T HAVE BEEN BETTER. ( I HAVE SEEN HIM BEFORE ). BUT TO THE MAIN ATTRACTION, CARRIE UNDERWOOD. SHE DELIVERED EACH AND EVERY SONG WITH JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF POWER. SHE HAD EVERYONE ON THEIR FEET, I THOUGHT WHEN I SAW MARTINA MCBRIDE LIVE, THAT A LIVE CONCERT COULDN'T GET ANY BETTER, I WAS WRONG, CARRIE DOES IT FOR ME. SHE GAVE IT EVERYTHING AND PUT IT ALL ON THE TABLE. IF YOU HAVE A CHANCE TO GET A TICKET, GET IT AND GO ENJOY ONE POWERFUL PERFORMER. JUST THINK, SHE CAN ONLY GET BETTER AS TIME GOES BY. P.S. I HEARD WQYK DIDN'T THINK AS MUCH OF HER PERFORMANCE, IT JUST GOES TO SHOW YOU, EVEN A RADIO STATION CAN GET IT WRONG SOME TIME..
