75.00 for a burger. This would be great on a rainy day, or Cold/snow day. More for families and children. Great concept. Needs more work. Maybe next year they will do a better job. Burgers, cold wings, brats, cold fries. That was It. Disappointing to say the least. $25.00 is a better price for the burger... Needs work should be better next year. We will not go back.
It was nice to attend this event in the new training tunnel and we chose to do this for a special family occasion. The food was a little dismal and nearly cold. The black and blue team were announced by the DJ to be coming to toss out T-shirts, but they only had 3. The USO had a section as it was Salute to Service day and one of the representatives told my 2 sons (veterans) to go over, but it was only for invited guests from 2 bases. My family enjoyed tossing a football, but wouldn’t buy tickets to this again as is.
I bought 2 tickets and when it was advertised it sounded great all the food you could eat and Panthers legends etc activities and games. The food had 2 options at each station a burger ( which was burnt with lettuce and tomato and condiments but no onion or pickle. A philly cheese steak ( Didn’t eat) and then 2 types of wings which weren’t even buffalo or bbq. Ricky prolly was there which okay fine. The activities were eh. Throw a football or play connect 4. For the money the alcohol needed to be included or more Panthers legends, more food options. I get tying to make money but truthfully I’ll never do that again. After about 45 min we started playing games on our phone because we had done everything. Could have done all of that at our car tailgating with better food. Ricky was in the stadium doing autographs anyways. You should list who would be there as I’ve met him several times before. Very disappointed in it. Especially the money I paid. Not worth even 20 bucks in my opinion. Live and learn I guess. We left with plenty of time to spare because nothing else to do. I did like the new facility.
I would not suggest paying the amount for this event. I think they are starting to realize this but it is not worth $50 a person. The burgers were burnt and they only had 2 types of wings. Soda and water were included but for that price you should get a few alcoholic drinks included. Disappointed with the lack of legends there. Ricky Proehl was there and one other person that I did not know. As most other people have stated, you can tailgate much cheaper outside of the dome. Good thought but needs to be amped up in some ways. I wouldn’t do it again!
My brother and myself enjoyed our first game. Very nice and friendly staff at the backyard bash. We got full fast the food was delicious. We met some of the panthers legends and it was awesome. I would love to go to another home game with my sons
The price is over rated for what you receive. If they state you will meet the players, it should be current players not past or retired players. Very disappointed in this experience.
The premise of it I thought was great which is why I got the tickets. Once we got there it looked nice but there wasn't much going on. I'm guessing it was dead because of the $75 ticket price but we are from out of town and there for a surprise birthday so we spent the money not knowing. The food was limited but good. If the beer and wine were included the ticket price would have made more sense. Under the circumstance, $25-40 max was about what I would have paid if I knew.
The Backyard Bash was a great experience. The event is held at the Panthers practice field. There was plenty of tables and chairs and a lot of things to keep kids and adults busy. We were able to throw some football on the field also. The food was great and so was the DJ. We even meet a couple of players too. I can't say enough good things about the experience as a whole.
The event was nice but I was expecting more former players to attend and sign autographs. Meeting Moose was great, and he was such a nice guy, but really wanted to meet more players.
