CANNONS alternate between flashes of gauzy introspection, glitter-drenched dancefloor ecstasy, and gritty sensuality. The Los Angeles trio--Michelle Joy [vocals], Ryan Clapham [lead guitar], and Paul Davis [drums keys]--elevate alternative / electro-pop to a neon stratosphere with nocturnal production and a visual sensibility equally suited to Studio 54 or summer festival season. Thus far, the band has honed this signature style over the course of three albums, namely Night Drive [2017], Shadows [2019], and Fever Dream [2022]. Along the way, "Fire For You" reached RIAA gold status, generated nearly a quarter-of-a-billion streams, topped Alternative Radio, and landed massive syncs on the likes of NETFLIX's Never Have I Ever, American Horror Story, and more. CANNONS earned critical acclaim from The Hollywood Reporter, Billboard, FLAUNT, and Consequence of Sound while YouTube touted them among 2021's "Artists on the Rise." Emerging as a live force, they've headlined countless packed shows in addition to lighting up festivals such as Coachella, Lollapalooza, Life Is Beautiful, Outside Lands, and Electric Forest, to name a few. Evolving yet again, CANNONS kickstart another era with the sunny, sassy, and sexy funkified strut of their 2023 single "Loving You" and much more to come.
This group is amazing. The openers were amazing as well! I can’t wait until they come back to Tucson, this was honestly the best live experience I think I will ever see
Had a blast !! And they sound super rad live !! Check em out while they’re still touring !!
They are so talented and a must see live show…Michelle has amazing vocals and the band just rocks. If you haven’t seen them live please do and thank me later 🤘🏼
I had a great time. Had tickets on my TM app, and just pulled up at event. Didn't have any issues at all. I loved the 2 opening bands. Overall great experience.
Enjoyed the show but my goodness the bass sound just stunk. Way too loud and not eq'd right. Certain bass notes were louder than others, etc. Was fun to see a sold out show in Tucson.
The stage is great. The atmosphere was vibrant and colorful. The only things I would change is to let the A/C be a bit lower. Come back again please.
Cannons did not disappoint one bit, drawing beauty from the ether and sharing with us mere mortals, much like Prometheus... Michelle's silky voice driving through a kaleidoscope of audible joy that is the band's signature sound... and what joy it is... Do not miss this show, it's worth traveling out of state for...
This was the 3rd time I have seen Cannons perform live, the 1st during their Fever Dream Tour, the 2nd during their Co-Headliner tour with The Knocks, and the 3rd during their Heartbeat Highway tour! Each time I leave more impressed with their stage presence, overall performance, and unrelenting enthusiasm towards their art! It was awesome getting to hear unreleased songs off of their new album this tour and it was a true love letter to fans new and old getting to hear tracks before the general public! So glad to have had the opportunity to go see them again and looking forward to seeing them again in the future!
Venue was awesome and the performance is always awesome! X2 to see them and I’d do it again!
Great show, with a decent venue, but poor patron policies. Want you to leave your umbrella outside in the pouring rain and get wet while you walk up to enter. Then have to find your umbrella in a pile of 100 of them.
Pretty much radio quality live performance. Couldn't ask for more. Jane Leo didn't do anything for me or our group. Two Another was pretty good...we enjoyed their music. Cannons came on and just took things up 10 notches!
amazing amazing amazing band and they sounds even better in person
Cannons needs a bigger venue next time coming to Houston; venue was too small with only general admission/standing room only.
Great sold out show, easy access, great experience
It was very cool! The theater is beautiful, the bar staff were great & the artists were super-duper! I brought my 16 year old son to ATL from Orlando with me and I thought he’d have to chill in the Airbnb, but he got to come after I discovered it was an all ages venue and he got to experience his first live show/concert (not planned), so it was a very special time for myself & my boy! - Ty 🙏
Cannons put on an amazing show as did Jane Leo and Two Another and I can’t wait to see them again! The meet and greet was a great experience as well! Great folks having great times 🔥🌹
Buckhead Theatre is awesome, Jane Leo surprised, they should have been the second act. Cannons was GREAT, sounded awesome, great great show.
We loved all the performers and performances although Jane Leo may have stolen the show as the opening act! This was our first time in the Buckhead Theatre and it was a really nice venue. We’d definitely come to a show here again.
Line moves super fast very organized on the inside of the venue. Merchandise sold at booth and very little traffic when it’s time to purchase. The bathrooms was cleaned when entering before the show. Incredible band performance from the opening acts to the main event
Loved how quickly we were able to get inside and situated in a cherry spot on the balcony. Jane Leo did nothing for us. Just was not our cup of tea. My husband called their music “ugly music”! The best thing about them for me was that they just got engaged, yay them, & her shoes were fire! I couldn't understand most of what she was singing so the songs didn't catch on for me. Leo is a nice guitarist, but not enough for me to want to sit through a set. The second opening act, One to One, was amazing the singer had a great voice and the 2 man band had a BIG sound! Loved every song and with the benefit of retrospect would love to see them as a headliner! Cannons were okay. The lead singer does not come off well live! Which I knew before the show, but after purchasing tickets. Just saw Corinne Baily Raye the previous week and her live performance was just perfection! Michelle needs to work on her vocal skills if she isn't already doing so. She can get by on her aesthetic for only so long. The other members are excellent musicians in my opinion she is the weakest link! Imagine them having a female lead that could kill it live!??!!??!! They would go next level.
