What a great show...the boys from Seattle show they can still bring it, and heavy. We were at sound check, met the band, and really enjoyed the show. Earshot was awesome and a good opener, but Candlebox stole the show! Especially when they ripped into some covers during the middle of the set.
Candlebox has a way of making you feel like you are the only one in the crowd. Their stage presence was personal and inviting. One by one the band members came to the edge of the stage and played, handing their guitar picks to a lucky fan. The memebers of the audience swayed and jammed to the new and old songs. We were all friends by the end of the night. They do an awesome job of mixing new with old and keeping you interested. They played a great set, and even if you didn't know the new stuff, you were equally mesmerized by the familiar chords of their guitars and sway of the music that in turn swayed the crowd.
Last night was a blast! I took 3 friends with me, one of which didn't know candlebox, and they had a great time. Old songs were great, and new songs were AWESOME! Keep coming back to Houston Candlebox!

Candlebox rocked it! Great performance from the entire band. They interacted with the audience, signed autographs and took pictures with fan's cameras, etc. Fantastic entertainers! They sounded amazing and the House of Blues was great as usual. I'd go to see them again tomorrow if I could!
I haven't seen Candlebox in over 10 years and they still sound terrific. Pretty much a no nonsense show with great songs and sound. They truly acted like they were appreciative of everyone being there. Played alot of new stuff, but did leave out "Happy Pills" and "10,000 Horses". Great show all around at the great House of Blues
Candlebox was very high-energy! Participated with the audience all through the performance, you could tell they were having fun and glad to be there. Played all their best songs + new ones and even covers of other bands (in one song). House of Blues is the BEST venue hands down to be more intimate with the band. It was a great, great concert. Worth every dollar spent for tickets.
