Some 2020s song were played and a lot of RNB music was played. Not enough songs ppl can singscream and dance at. Looking around a lot of ppl were barely dancing to but once the classic 2010s were playing everyone was screaming and dancing. A better DJ is needed or at least one that actually listens to the suggested songs ppl send over. A lot of strangers I was talking to were confused about the song choices.
It was okay. I appreciated that they actually took requests. But transitions were ROUGH and there was no announcement that the last song was playing. They just stopped suddenly. So that ruined the vibe. Location was good. Enough room without bumping into people. Fun vibes.
They played decent music but it ended very early around 12:30 and we didn’t even know the last song was the last song until the lights turned on, pretty underwhelming.
The vibe was kinda killed by the music, I thought the music would be 2010s pop hits that would be easy to dance to, but the music didn’t really meet those expectations. But as always, the Jefferson and their staff were awesome.
