About

With the arrival of his 2018 debut album Only Human, U.K.-based singer/songwriter Calum Scott landed at No. 1 on the iTunes album chart in over 20 countries around the world, amassing over 7.5 billion total global streams and counting. Now certified platinum or gold in 21 countries, Only Human includes his platinum-selling smash "You Are The Reason," a track that cracked the top 25 on Spotify's US Viral 50 and hit the top 10 on iTunes single charts in 38 countries. The album also features Calum's stripped-back, platinum-certified cover of Robyn's "Dancing On My Own," which earned a Brit Award nomination in the category of Best British Single. His first new music since Only Human, Calum's track "Biblical" marked an exciting evolution of his artistry, infusing even more raw emotion into his soulful and timeless sound. With its title referring to "a love of biblical proportions that transcends everyone and everything," according to Calum, the piano-laced ballad is the first song released from his highly anticipated sophomore album, due out this spring. Released in October, his recent track "Rise" brings Calum's warm yet powerful vocals to a majestic sound created with the help of producers Gabe Simon (Maroon 5, Rag'n'Bone Man) and Jon Maguire (James Bay, Liam Payne, Rita Ora).  Calum's new single, "If You Ever Change Your Mind" is out now.  Over the last few years, his songs have appeared on countless TV shows (including "American Idol," "The Voice," "So You Think You Can Dance," "Grey's Anatomy," and many more), while Calum has performed on such shows as "Late Night with Seth Meyers," "Ellen," "Good Morning America," "Live with Kelly and Ryan," "Dancing With The Stars," "The TODAY Show," and "The Late Late Show with James Corden," among others. In addition, he's garnered acclaim from outlets including Billboard (who hailed his "stunningly pure voice"), The Huffington Post (who stated that "Scott makes an impressive splash...compelling"), and Ones to Watch (who noted that Calum's music "elegantly transforms pain into beauty").

  • Great, except…

by Anonymous on 10/7/24Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Loved the concert overall. Calum’s got an amazing voice, great energy, and truly seems to want to connect with his audience. Sad corner was legit and had all the feels. Two things I wish were better: sound and song selection. There were many occasions when the band drowned Calum out despite him singing at full voice. That should have been figured out in sound check. As for song selection, the club sings were ok but felt it didn’t match the energy in the room. I get that Calum probably has his eyes on stadiums and has to test this out, but it just felt too big for the room and mismatched the energy of the audience in my opinion.

  • He sounded even better singing live!

by Gabby on 10/7/24Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Calum Scott's concert was amazing! He was funny, down to earth (not pretentious at all), sang all the best hits and some new personal ones, and most importantly he sounded even better live. Great voice and worth the money!

by Jmon on 10/7/24Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Not only was it a vocally awesome show, but the tight band was equally great! Opening act Cian Ducrot was amazing as well! Highly recommended to catch either one in concert in the future!

From cry to dancing out and then shouting songs I knew by heart, this show made me live lot of emotions ❤️

  • Always delivers

    by Matt EJ C on 10/6/24MTELUS - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5

Calum Scott is one of those artists that is truly moved by the love and affection that his audiences have for him and he was greatly loved by the Montreal crowd. His opening acts this time around, Cian Ducrot was the perfect choice. His ability to communicate in both languages was a huge plus to the crowd and his powerful voice was a wonderful appetizer in advance of what was coming. Can't wait to see what is in store for Cian. As for the main show, IT WAS SPECTACULAR in every way it could be. Calum engaged us from the first note his band played and we were hooked right up until the lights went down. he expressed his joy to returning to Montreal and being able to perform in a larger venue. A venue that he filled with ease. His enthusiasm and love of performing was evident and he was truly pleased to have the crowds, myself and my great nice and nephew included, singing along to every one of his songs. And with some concerts, there can be one or two songs that just doesn't land well with the crowd but that was not the case at all on Thursday. The crowd was hooked and joined in every song. And to showcase his new single "My World", the night before it dropped globally was a gift that no one in the crowd will forget. Honestly I would rate this 100 out of 10 and I think that everyone in the audience would agree with me. And he promised that he would come back to Montreal as often as their was a demand and I can guarentee that we will hold him to that promise because we all left full of joy and love and that was all due to Calum and his band.

Calum is everything that i expected him to be and more. He is kind and shows compassion. I always admired his lyrics because they seemed so heartfelt. Meeting him confrmed what I always felt. He deserves all the accolades. The concert was incredible!

  • Not to be missed

by Man on 10/6/24MTELUS - MontrealRating: 4 out of 5

Excellent performance. Generous and friendly artist . Would have appreciated a room with seating and know the start time of Calum’s performance. Not the best venue to enjoy the performance but the acoustics were excellent

  • Great show and amazing artists

by Matt EJ C on 4/21/23Théâtre Corona - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5

This show was everything we hoped it would be. Jamie was brilliant and warmed up the crowd nicely. Calum and his crew were amazing and the night was filled with warm moments of genuine thanks and appreciation for his fans. Having Jamie presented with a birthday cake to celebrate was incredibly sweet, which is how I would describe Calum in two words. This was our first time in the venue and although we were a bit unsure, it was perfect. Just the right size for an intimate evening with talented musicians and singers. Can't wait for his next tour. Maybe add an Ottawa stop on the next tour.

by raymond on 9/7/22Théâtre Corona - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5

Calum is the best. I enjoy the concert. I apprreciate also some of the audience for letting us to move a little in front because my wife can't see it at the back. She is too small. :)

  • Calum Knows how to bring it to the crowd!

by Robert on 9/5/22House of Blues Chicago - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Phenomenal event! The venue was perfect and the performance was spectacular. Calum is one of those performers that can sing on TV, radio, recordings and sound exactly the same live. He had the life of a kid at Disney a stage presence that lit up the entire auditorium.

  • Incredible and Intimate

by Danielle on 9/5/22House of Blues Cleveland - ClevelandRating: 5 out of 5

Loved this concert so much! It felt so personal and special! I wasn't able to make his show in Philly the week prior so obviously I had to make it work and get to the Cleveland concert! So worth the trip!!! I love Calum's voice, personality, stage presence, and energy!
