With the arrival of his 2018 debut album Only Human, U.K.-based singer/songwriter Calum Scott landed at No. 1 on the iTunes album chart in over 20 countries around the world, amassing over 7.5 billion total global streams and counting. Now certified platinum or gold in 21 countries, Only Human includes his platinum-selling smash "You Are The Reason," a track that cracked the top 25 on Spotify's US Viral 50 and hit the top 10 on iTunes single charts in 38 countries. The album also features Calum's stripped-back, platinum-certified cover of Robyn's "Dancing On My Own," which earned a Brit Award nomination in the category of Best British Single. His first new music since Only Human, Calum's track "Biblical" marked an exciting evolution of his artistry, infusing even more raw emotion into his soulful and timeless sound. With its title referring to "a love of biblical proportions that transcends everyone and everything," according to Calum, the piano-laced ballad is the first song released from his highly anticipated sophomore album, due out this spring. Released in October, his recent track "Rise" brings Calum's warm yet powerful vocals to a majestic sound created with the help of producers Gabe Simon (Maroon 5, Rag'n'Bone Man) and Jon Maguire (James Bay, Liam Payne, Rita Ora). Calum's new single, "If You Ever Change Your Mind" is out now. Over the last few years, his songs have appeared on countless TV shows (including "American Idol," "The Voice," "So You Think You Can Dance," "Grey's Anatomy," and many more), while Calum has performed on such shows as "Late Night with Seth Meyers," "Ellen," "Good Morning America," "Live with Kelly and Ryan," "Dancing With The Stars," "The TODAY Show," and "The Late Late Show with James Corden," among others. In addition, he's garnered acclaim from outlets including Billboard (who hailed his "stunningly pure voice"), The Huffington Post (who stated that "Scott makes an impressive splash...compelling"), and Ones to Watch (who noted that Calum's music "elegantly transforms pain into beauty").
Calum was amazing. Great energy and very inspirational too. His voice is simply phenomenal. Can’t wait for him to be back in Chicago!
Calum sang 16 songs with a great backing unit. He has a great way of storytelling the background to his songs. Just a great night
The people singing as loud if not louder then him. The House of Blues is a great place to see anyone. A+ all night.
Jamie Miller and Calum Scott put on such an emotional and unforgettable concert. I took my daughters to the concert and they agree that this was the best concert they have ever been to! You can tell Jamie and Calum put all of their energy and passion into their performance. Highly recommend!!
Nice experience. Calum is really amazing and is really good. I love him more.
wow! such an experience. Calum Scott pours his heart out into every song. He is exceptional, I hope one day to see him sing at a stadium to make his dream come true
What a fantastic concert! The only thing that went wrong is it ended. It went too fast. If you get a chance to see him in concert - GO! HOB - staff was friendly and helpful.
Calum Scott is an awesome singer in every way! It was exciting it was fun it was exhilarating, and most of all it was humbling. He was so gracious so kind and such an awesome awesome singer! I felt so honored to be able to go to his show.
Calum Scott is easily one of the greatest entertainers of our generation. The smaller venue allowed for a very intimate and one on one experience. Not to mention…I also was given the chance to meet him! Calum was born to entertain. Calum was very vulnerable and open on-stage about issues ranging from sexual orientation to suicide. Calum’s performance was flawless and is one of the few artists I’ve seen that is better live than on record. Calum’s tickets were underpriced and I wouldn’t hesitate to see him again!
Callum Scott was fantastic. I would definitely purchase a ticket too see him again !!
Would say that it was one of the best concerts I have ever attended! Calum not only has great style and a beautiful voice but he connects very well with his audience. Very passionate and sincere. Only negative is that the venue does not provide fans with accessible needs a fair chance to view the concert. Some venues have balcony seating but here they slide folding chairs in alongside a standing audience. How is someone who cannot stand supposed to be able to see?
Great venue. Hadn’t been to varsity theater before. Calum is a stud. Great vocal range and emotional performance. You go boy!!
Calum Scott put on an incredible show. I will definitely see him again in the future. What an incredible voice he has!
Jamie Miller was wonderful. Calum Scott was magnificent! He was charming and engaging. I will see him every time he comes to Cleveland. The House of Blues was an intimate venue. Great experience!
The concert itself was phenomenal. The opening act was also great! I loved that we got to meet him and take pictures for free. I wisj more artists would do that. If i had it to do all over again, I would have purchased actual seats instead of just the standing room only, because while we were able to get close for the opening act, we had a huge man in front of us blocking all view and then people kept shoving their way in front of us until we finally just gave up and moved to the upper standing level. All in all Calum was great! And I would definitely see either artist Again!
We really enjoyed the Calum Scott concert. My feedback is related to the ticket sales process. For someone unfamiliar with the venue, it is a bit deceiving to sell tickets that have a row & seat number for general admission standing space. Luckily I stumbled onto this while looking at the venue website, so we were prepared. Just should have been aware at the time of ticket purchase.
I had so much fun. Calum Scott is a great performer and it was an amazing show
Calum was absolutely amazing! His message and voice are totally what we need right now!
The tickets said the show started at 7pm. That's a lie. The doors to the venue opened at 7pm. The show started at 8pm. We paid for selected seats, so there was no need for us get there before 8pm. We waited outside in the blistering heat for 40 mins before we got into the theatre. We could have arrived at 7:30, went into the theatre, and not had to endure the heat. Tell people when the show starts, NOT when you think we should be there.
Everything went fast getting into the venue. The concert was aawsome. Calum made this the Best Day for me. St Andrew's Hall has a great handicap set up, although small. Getting my tickets & parking was easy. I can't wait for him to come back again.
