I enjoyed the music very much. This is the third Mariachi Festival I've attended. Both Mariachi groups were very talented. My only suggestion is to have them do a few less songs each so the evening won't be so late in ending.
Very good concert; wish Las Flores would have sung better known classics than the choices they selected.
While I understand this was a community event, the length of the program before the "headliners" performed was excessive. The intermission at 8:45 PM was pretty late in the evening, The sound level should have been reduced by at least half; the sound level detracted from the quality of the performance. Maybe I should plan to arrive at the intermission next year.
This was my first time attending the festival. It was great! And it definitely is on my to do list for next year. Had I known, it was going to be kid friendly, I would have taken my kids as well. The food was good and inexpensive, as well as the beverages and snacks. Only drawback was that there served no alcohol, and no eating in the theater.....kind of a bummer, but other than that, well worth it.
The folkloric dancers were great, the little ones so cute. The amerature musicians definitely show great promise for the future of Mariachi music.

While the intent was well meant, this event was just too long. The folklorico kids did a good job, but after a while felt like I was waching a dance recital in $40.00 seats. The Mariachi Flores Mexicanas were talented, but their presntation could have been cut in half and be just as entertaining. Of course, Patricia Martin and Mariachi Los Camporos de Nati cano were sensational, but alas, after 4 hours of sitting, we were thinking more about getting our kids home than ejoying the music.
