    So-So Liver

by peachysunrise26 on 1/24/11CAMP BAR - St. Paul

To no fault of our own, we arrived just as the play was about to begin despite how early on we had purchased tickets. So, with 8 of us, they stuck us way in the back where we could hardly fit because there were tables in front of us that had pushed their chairs all the way back. We didn't have a table like all the others. We waited 15 minutes before we all had a cocktail for the "drinking" play and missed about 3 socals meanwhile. So, this review is probably more a rip on the service at the theater than the actual play. The play was okay. Was less funnier than I would have expected after reading many other reviews. A few chuckles here and there, but hardly worth mentioning to co-workers today to run out and see it.

The play was hilarious and remarkably true on a lot of counts (and very stretched on others, of course). I would definitely recommed it, especially for group events, like birthdays, etc. The only thing that made it not "amazing" was the inability of the actor's/venue to control the crowd during the non-audience participation parts. Many groups were having loud, full-out conversations, and it was hard to hear what was going on onstage at times.

    What alot of fun!

The play was fun. It was very interactive with the crowd. It is the kind of event that will be a little different every time you go.

    Bye Bye Liver - Hilarious!!

by NorthernRapids on 1/2/11CAMP BAR - St. Paul

We had such a GREAT time! All four of us found the humor funny, and could seriously relate to life experiences throughout our lives. Also, the wait staff was friendly and timely throughout the performance. Afterward, we went into the bar area before heading home to enjoy a cocktail and coffee while sharing laughs over what we had just enjoyed. We found the bar area conducive to conversation, and the bartender friendly and attentive. With the announcement that they are extending the dates of the play, and that the sketches are changed, we are seriously considering going again with additional friends. Highly recommended!

The funniest show I've seen in a long time!

by sweetbabyjj on 12/6/10CAMP BAR - St. Paul

The show was a riot. The actors were fabulous. I will go see it again if anyone else wants to. I recommend going to the later show and having Sawatee for dinner in the cozy bar/lounge area first.

    Bye Bye Liver

by DeDeDeb on 11/23/10CAMP BAR - St. Paul

I bought the tickets for my husbands and my birthday - It was fantastic - I never laughed so hard, I had a side ache before I left. It was funny, entertaining, so on to the subject. The skits were hularious. I would go again and plan to later - taking my kids - they are all old enough to now the bar scene and they would have a blast. LOVED IT

    Terrible!

by Slpenneau on 11/21/10CAMP BAR - St. Paul

This sketch had poor comedy, awful acting, and terrible writing. The drinks were expensive, and overall, the night was wasted. I went in to this expecting clever writing and smart comedy, and my husband and I were both incredibly dissapointed.

Great show! The skits were very well done. The cast looks like they are having a lot of fun in the midst of the chaos as the audience gets a little more rowdy with the consumption of adult beverages. The bartender character strikes me as a mix of Robin Williams and Drew Carry. He keeps things moving and is very fast on his feet in dealing with the audience. Nice casual atmosphere. Food is available but there is no eating in the theatre area, so give yourself enough time to eat and still pick out your seats, as the seating is general admission.

Bye Bye Liver -- good time with the right attitude

by Redheadwglasses on 11/8/10CAMP BAR - St. Paul

This was more my boyfriend's style of humor than my own (I treated). but we both enjoyed the show -- he thought it was hilarious. The script was okay to pretty good, but the cast really made the show. Being 42, it was fun to watch the young (early 20s, some of them) actors and wonder where they might be in 10 years.
