    Just a few kinks

by FJMfan on 6/8/15Sawyer Point/Yeatmen's Cove - Cincinnati

It seemed that on Friday, they were not prepared for the amount of people that would be arriving at one time and the lines were ridiculously long to get in. This unfortunately caused me to miss part of one of the shows I was most hoping to see while at Bunbury. Another thing that was bothersome was the lack of water filling stations and the fact that water bottles at the tents were $3. Providing water should be a priority to make sure that people are staying hydrated and keeping safe in the heat, but the lines for the filling stations were long and it was hard to find them in the first place. Other than these complaints, I thought the music sounded great and the schedule was planned out well. Would recommend this festival to everyone, I just think they have a few kinks they need to work out for the future!

I loved it. I had an awesome time all three days and I plan on going back next year!

I have been going to Bunbury since year 1 and the last 2 years I have been in VIP. It was astounding to me that there was 1 entrance on Friday. The fact that they admittedly more than doubled the attendance and didn't bother to have more water & food stations is disappointing. I certainly hope that the planners can learn from this year. I'd rather have to spend more for a ticket & allow fewer people in. This year's event was completely oversold. The logistics weren't planned out very well. I thought the music was great, but It's upsetting to want to see a concert one 1 side of the venue and another right after & miss the bulk of the show because it's near impossible to get through the entire venue in a timely manner. I hope that these bugs are fixed for next year. The 2nd added VIP station was not good either. I would be happy to pay more for a few more perks, like a separate entrance/exit and 1 more bar!

Poor logistics: only one entrance which was understaffed, long lines for food and drinks, ATMs did not work, and stages did not seem apt for the bands.

    Perhaps a little too crowded...

by Dorilla on 6/8/15Sawyer Point/Yeatmen's Cove - Cincinnati

The reason we get a three day pass is to experience a lot of music and meet a lot of bands each night. The genre definitely changed for Saturday. Most every band we wanted to see was on Friday. Apparently, that was so for 20,000 others... In years past, it was crowded, but manageable... It is no longer enjoyable when you can hardly move, can't see the stage and have to wait in endless lines for everything. Here's hope that you'll pay attention to those details and bring it back as a festival and not a mob scene.

Bands where great, but the festival was not

by MexMes on 6/8/15Sawyer Point/Yeatmen's Cove - Cincinnati

I went to the festival last year of the summer of 2014 and I had a great time. This year was different. When I first got there about 3 hours after the festival had started, there was a line that wrapped around onto the sidewalk and under the bridge! I had never waited in a line that long when the process of entering the festival takes two minutes tops. After about an hour of waiting in line we finally got in. The rest of the day was good and honestly if Catfish and the Bottlemen weren't there I would have been very disappointed in the day. I wouldn't recommend Bunbury Music Festival if it's going to be like this from now on, but hopefully they can fix the waiting problem.

    Food, beer and awesome music!

by Austoned on 6/8/15Sawyer Point/Yeatmen's Cove - Cincinnati

The food was amazing. I tried island noodles because everyone on the internet bragged about it. After trying it I now see why. There was quite a bit of craft beer as well. My particular favorite was the cinncinati summer brewed shandy (can't remember the exact name). As far as music goes, Machineheart was great, Temples was even better, Matt & Kim was the best show I had ever seen. I attended the festival for Tame Impala, so when they came on I naturally became super stoked. They were amazing for the time they played, but had to cut their set in half because of a storm :( resulting with me being super bummed. Not their fault. Their equipment starting failing so I don't blame them.

    Nailed It!

by SPete on 6/8/15Sawyer Point/Yeatmen's Cove - Cincinnati

Bunbury Festival 2015 is one of the best festivals I've ever attended! The venue was spectacular, the food & beer choices where 2nd to none and the lineups were genius! The music was electrifying and every artist brought their "A" game! I have a few new favorite bands (twenty one pilots, hello - who knew?!?!) Sad it's over but excited for next year!

everything was amazing, the only struggle was having to pay $3 every time I wanted a water. the artists were great, the stages were well layed out, the screens got good shots, and the vendors were delicious

    awsome venue and lineup

by ljgz on 6/8/15Sawyer Point/Yeatmen's Cove - Cincinnati

Music was all around great , best act I saw was Old Crow Medicine Show, such energy and sheer joy in their music. Venue along river was beautiful. Only comment for next year is BRING MORE FOOD VENDORS !!! Lines were unacceptably long and food choices quite limited, especially for vegetarian/vegan folks

    Turned it Around

by tcolmstead on 6/8/15Sawyer Point/Yeatmen's Cove - Cincinnati

Friday was an absolute train wreck. The logistics of the festival were a nightmare; with only one entrance, not enough water or food and issues with ATMs. That being said, the organizers turned all of those problems around in 12 hours and Saturday went very smoothly. Sunday was also pleasant, though the billing was a bit off (Twenty One Pilots were too large to not be the headliner). Future festivals should schedule with more competition so the whole crowd isn't moving back and forth at once.

    Bubbury was great!

Great Lineup and overall great crowd. Few kinks to work out to make it better but can't wait to see how next year improves.

    I heart Bunbury!!!!

by curbann on 6/8/15Sawyer Point/Yeatmen's Cove - Cincinnati

We had a great time! The Bleachers were really fun and Walk the Moon was spectacular! I love Cincinnati! This festival is really cool! We go every year :) The people watching is great and the bathrooms were not as bad as I thought they would be, which was a total plus. We skipped the Black Keys because we were lucky enough to be in the bathroom at the time of the down pour, so we were the only dry ones at the concert!! Super fun time!! I wish I would have seen Twenty One Pilots. Their new album is off the charts! I will be seeing them in September because I need more than an hour with them :)

Music was great, logistics could use some work

    by AB10101010 on 6/8/15Sawyer Point/Yeatmen's Cove - Cincinnati

On the plus side, the lineup was awesome, the bands all sounded great and most of the stages were set up in a way that you could see (at least a video screen) and hear great even if you weren't that close. Sawyer Point is a great venue for this kind of event. The negatives: the lines on Friday were unacceptable. If you know you sold 20,000 tickets to an event, you need to be able to accommodate 20,000 people. I don't care if that's way more than last year, you should adjust your plan to allow for it. Everywhere you went that night, it was just crazy long lines. Lines to get in, lines for water, beer and food, lines for the bathroom. You could spend the whole time just waiting in line. This absolutely has to be fixed for next year because it had a serious negative affect on our experience. Not to mention, I would have bought way more beer & food if the lines hadn't been so long! Also, you gotta get more local beer and less of the big name swill. I appreciate the craft beer village, but it would have been nice if it was a LOCAL craft beer village. Most of what was on offer was pretty bad. I did appreciate having Moerlein there, but they're not even Cincy's best local brewery. Hopefully that can be rectified next year. One last thing, any possible way that you can have vendors accept credit cards would be a big improvement! I know the cell signal strength was weak with all the people there, but if they could be hardwired, I guarantee you'd sell more concessions! Nobody likes cash anymore.

    Entrance line for days

    by Jlam222 on 6/8/15Sawyer Point/Yeatmen's Cove - Cincinnati

The music was great! The entrance lines to get in were ridiculous. Bunbury was my thurs festival for this and by far has the worst, longest line to get in. once inside, restroom and beer lines were comparable.

    Great music, poor organization!!

    by BMF3 on 6/8/15Sawyer Point/Yeatmen's Cove - Cincinnati

We were very confused and dissapointed by the lack of signage for entry into the event. Very poorly organized. I felt sorry for all of the event volunteers who had no idea what they should be doing to help people!! The music was great and I wanted to see most of the acts but the food lines were ridiculous. I missed Old Crow Medicine show because we left the festival to try to find somewhere to get a bite. The water lines on Friday were ridiculous also!!! If it had been a hotter day, I think there could have been serious health issues!! The setting along the river was beautiful but the space seemed too narrow for the size of the crowd. This was one of the poorest run festivals I have attended.
