About Bud Light Super Bowl Music Fest
The National Football League and pop music have had an unlikely but successful relationship since the Super Bowl halftime show in 1991 when the year’s hottest boy band, the New Kids on the Block, brought the house down at Tampa Stadium in Tampa, Florida. Throughout the years, this short but sweet halftime gig has only gotten bigger, brighter and more spectacular with performers including Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, U2, Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, Prince, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Madonna, Bruno Mars, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga and more. In 2019, the NFL upped the ante even further with the inaugural Bud Light Super Bowl Music Fest, a three-day extravaganza that just nearly overshadowed one of the biggest sporting events in the world. With over 41,000 fans in attendance at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena — and nearly 5 million streaming the performances on Twitter — the fest featured top talents including Super Bowl halftime show alumni Bruno Mars and Aerosmith, as well as Cardi B., Post Malone, and hometown hip-hop heroes Ludacris, Ciara, Migos, T.I., Lil Jon, Lil Yachty and Young Jeezy. In 2020, the second Bud Light Super Bowl Music Fest goes down in sunny Miami, Florida, from Thursday, January 30, to Saturday, February 1, leading up to Super Bowl LIV. On Thursday, DJ Khaled, DaBaby and a few special guests kick off the festivities with their EA SPORTS BOWL Welcome to Miami Showcase at the AmericanAirlines Arena, the palm-tree–lined venue located along the picturesque Biscayne Bay. Friday sees hard rock icons Guns N’ Roses taking over the stage with original members Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagen busting out some of their greatest hits. The festival’s Saturday finale features the previous year’s Super Bowl halftime show headliners Maroon 5 along with a special guest. The three-day event also features surprise celebrity and athlete appearances. If the Bud Light Super Bowl Music Fest gets any greater, it could threaten to overshadow the main event itself.
Guns N’ Roses put on a great concert, playing almost 3 hours with most of their hit songs
The event was well organized or the access was super smooth and the show was very good
definitely was what i was expecting...slash play beyond what i wvwr imagine
I’ve seen them every year since they reunited. They never disappoint. The venue was too small for them and the sound was a bit distorted from the closed arena. They sound absolutely amazing in outdoor/open stadiums.
Snoop came on and pumped up the crowd as the sold out arena finished filling...Guns came on and the already amped crowd was electified with an experience that went to after 1 in the morning....they left it on the stage boys!!
Expensive tickets only to have someone stand throughout the concert and refuse to sit even when asked nicely
Guns N' Roses is easily one of the best touring bands around! Since the three-union, it's been a blast. Glad we caught this show, they played ALL our favorites and sounded amazing!
When we bought tickets early as soon as announced, the program was Guns N Roses with start time of 8 PM. Some weeks before the Show, they announced that Snoop Dogg was going to be their opening act. Snoop started late at about 8:20 and played until 9PM. Not my kind of entertainment! Guns N Roses finally started very late around 10:15 PM. My wife was so upset we had to leave before the show ended. I am a rocker since 1972 and will never trust them to show up and play on time as promoted when tickets are sold. Feel taken advantage of and we should be refunded for our three tickets.
A fantastic night . Snoop tho not my kinda music put on a very enjoyable show . Guns were good very good. Axel was the weak link tho . Only thing that spoiled the night was the late finish. No transport and a nightmare getting a taxi etc in the pouring rain . 2 hrs to get back to South beach and soaked thru
It was cool seeing snoop dog but the audio was trash, Guns N’ Roses played for almost 3 hours! Played all of their hits, axle is the man!
G n R may not be getting any younger but the boys were on form. Axl was struggling to such an extent that some songs were barely recognizable, nevertheless an awesome night. Snoop was on fine form, great warm-up act for this 90’s festival
wonderful space, prepared staff, easy and secure parking
They sound better than at the beginning of the tour, changed a couple songs on the setlist adding you're crazy. The tribute to Kobe was a nice touch. Overall, the best rock band of the '80s and better than the Rolling Stones, imagine if they hadn't broken up for 25 years.
Guns N' Roses played for over 3 hours. I usually skip the opener so it was a lot of show to watch both, about 5 hours! They never lost their steam and even I ran out of stamina to stand and dance here and there. Impressive performances all around....a tight band that seemed at home in Miami. It was a sold-out crowd with lots of enthusiasm for them. And they played some songs I've never seen them do live. Delightful!
GNR was awesome, came in 2017 and could not miss it this second time....ready to come back anytime!
Love the band, but could not hear Alex's voice well. Acoustic in the AA are horrible.
Best concert! Need more concerts like this with all these performers and others! Also, bring back DaBaby one day to the American Airlines Arena! Best night ever though! Great energy!
It was a very well put together event. Get venue and customer service.
It was an awesome show, especially later when the surprises came.
Concert was worth it ! Way more performances then what we expected . And I had great floor seats
