I enjoy this event every year, but last year, the food was awesome. This year, I wish I would've eaten before I showed up. Just horrible food. And unfortunately, the weather was crazy - windy & cold this year, it would've been nice to have something "warm"to drink. Again, love the event but horrible food.
I’ve been wanting to attend this event for the longest time now, but something always came up and I was never able to, this year was the first time I was able to go, and I had a blast with the Wife. We went VIP the food was good for snack food the atmosphere was amazing and everyone there was nice and friendly. It wasn’t overcrowded like a lot of the beer fest that we go to throughout the year and the beer selection was awesome! We will be doing it again next year.
It was fun to taste different beers, but for $55 should have included a hotdog without paying for VIP. Also, the hotdogs sold on the field were cold and actually 1/2 frozen inside. Band was just ok & not really integrated (not a dancing/entertainment event). So, basically going for a dozen 2 Oz pours (unless you wanted to drink more than that & just get drunk). I’d rather go to a brewery & eat better food.
VIP experience was a joke. Won’t pay for that again unless they fix it. You get food, oh but it’s cold and you can tell it’s been sitting around, so after that we actually bought food from the other tables that was kept hot. I’m Pretty sure bacteria in the food made both me and my wife sick for two days. Not cool. You can also tell attendance this year was way down. Yall got some work to do.
General Admission ticket holders were only given two food options when VIP ticket holders had an entire area with food options. Brewfest is about trying the different brews but it was unfortunate for DD’s to have nothing to look forward to. Beer and food go hand in hand!
We always get the VIP Tixs because of the food. Other years were good, last year was the best food. This years was a disappointment. Also the quality of beers weren't as good as previous years. Didn't seem to have all the vendors of years past.
VIP is the way to go. The food options were excellent. There were no lines for the breweries. It was nice to see a few from out of the area, like Moonlight, Modern Times, and Belching Beaver. I didn't stay for the music because I had somewhere else to go. I got my fill of beer and food before the General Admission folks arrived. It was lovely and one of my favorites. Not that you can predict these things, but the weather was perfect, too.
Over 50 beers to try. Had a blast. Great night out at the arena.
This was a well-organized event. VIPs were admitted on time and tickets and IDs were checked prior to entry to speed things along. The VIP food area was centrally located and had a nice variety of food options. That said, I would like to see a few healthier things from which to choose. I love that the brewery stations were located in the outfield fence line perimeter. Nothing felt crowded and there were no long lines. There were plenty of trash cans and receptacles for beer dumps. The music was great and could be heard throughout the venue. I'll return again next year.
