    by Tonitiger415 on 8/21/11Rex Theatre - Pittsburgh

Breathe Carolina was amazing. As well as the other bands. The venue wasn't too bad. Plenty of room. Only one all ages bathroom though so that kind of sucked. Good sounds and great energy.

    Breathe Carolina made my summer

by xXwoah on 8/21/11Rex Theatre - Pittsburgh

Breathe carolina was amazing. They put on an amazing show. I've seen them before but when they headlined this time it was unbelieveable. The venue was smaller and you could easily get up close. They let you mosh and crowdsurf up to them to sing with them and hug them while they were performing. They were very interactive with their fans and were outside after the show giving hugs taking pictures and signing things. The only thing is I purchased the VIP package which included a meet and greet. I got lost and was there 2 hours late. I missed out on the meet and greet. Other than that. It was the best night of my life.

    Breathe Carolina is awesome

by Mcelle on 8/21/11Rex Theatre - Pittsburgh

The main set was the best by far. Breathe Carolina was awesome despite a very hot venue that made it probably unbearable to be on stage that long. The mix of songs was just right. I heard the guys on HITS 1 XM radio today and it was just icing on top of a great weekend.

    Every band was amazing!

by Cass9hole on 8/19/11Northern Lights - Clifton Park

This was my first metal concert, and it was an unforgettable experience! One thing I didn't like was the website said the concert was starting at 5 P.M. The doors didn't open until 5:16 P.M. and those who had already purchased tickets waited longer in line than those who were buying tickets at the door. Others said the concert was going to start at 5:45 P.M. but it really started at 6:30 P.M. Another thing i didn't like was in between the bands, setting up would take over 15 minutes. Personally, I thought that was too long mainly because it the big crowd it was so hot and waiting in between made it worse. The bands were so good though! Chiodos was definitely the best band in my opinion! They're my favorite. I really enjoyed meeting some members of the band after the concert. They were really nice and I want to see them again! I was disappointed though that most bands didn't come out and greet us. Like Chiodos for example. Bradley Bell was the only one from the band that came out and talked to us. My friends and I traveled 3 hours to see Chiodos play and meet them, and it was disappointing that they wouldn't come out and greet us. It almost felt as if they didn't really appreciate us as fans. Nevertheless, I still am a huge fan of them!

    Strange combo, but it worked.

by MrNumber9 on 8/17/11Paradise Rock Club - Boston

This was one of the weirdest line-ups for a show that I've ever been to. The show opened with The Air I Breathe, which is straight metal. The whole band did a really good job especially for a cold opener, but especially the singer and and guitarists. The guitar work work was simply amazing at times. The singer went back and forth from growling to melodic and did a really good job with no help. Now the second "band" was Mod Sun. This was so awful and now I know why they weren't the opener, it was two rappers (though Mod let us know that it was really "hippy hop"...) and a dj. Was surprised me the most was that people actually liked it. I was bored out of my mind and pretty sick of it. Finally they finished and the next band up was The Color Morale, another straight metal band with some melody. I thought they had a good set, but their interludes between songs were really strange and christian. Then it was I See Stars. I'd had seen them a few months before at the Paradise as well so I knew they put on a good show. They're pretty much Pop-techno-rock-core or something, but they do put on a good show and their guy who screams is really solid. I'm sure he could have his own band if he wanted. Then Chiodos came on. This was the first time that I heard them with their new singer live. The new cd is good, but they didn't seem too confident since they opened with an old song. I think they split, 3 off the new cd and 3 off the old if I'm not mistaken. The new singer is good, he used to be from Yesterday's Rising. He definitely good and he puts his own spin on the old songs. The closer was Breathe Carolina and I was really on the fence with them. I have a couple of their cds, but don't listen much because it's too poppy for me, but they really added the rock to their live shows. I also didn't know they actually played instruments. The guitarist even plays a keytar, haha. Everyone was jumping and/or dancing and I was impressed with the set they put together.

I Think This Changed My Life

by LetsxDefyxGravity on 8/17/11Paradise Rock Club - Boston

The Air I Breathe started off the event, and they were amazing, and I may have been biased on their performance because Jesse Butler (guitarist) came up to my friends and me in line and talked to us for like half an hour, and he was a pretty cool dude. Mod Son was alright. I'm not a hip-hop person, or a "hippie-hap" person, but I liked the energy they had. The Color Morale was good, and then came I See Stars, which was amazing. Devin Oliver kept trying to make the crowd crowd surf and mosh, even though it wasn't allowed in the venue. Chiodos was pretty amazing as well. But then Breathe Carolina came out, Kyle Even was crowd surfing, shooting people with a water gun, and coming by and holding hands with people in the crowd. David Schmitt was headbanging and just doing his thing. They really know how to get a crowd going. Afterwards, Kyle stayed near the stage to sign things and take pictures and chill with his fans. I'm pretty sure this changed my life.

    Good show but....

by MrQuill on 8/16/11Paradise Rock Club - Boston

Brought my nearly 12 yr old daughter to this show in Boston as a B-day present. We knew what to expect from the wide variety of bands that would be at the show as we had attended a similar event about 6 mos ago. My daughter was excited that BC was headlining with a new album and we expected them to play longer than they did when they toured 6 mos ago as they were not the headliner then. Unfortunately this wasn't the case, in fact, I'm pretty sure they played a shorter set this time as the headliner than they did last time. It clocked in at 40 mins which was kind of disappointing as they have new material just out. They did put out a rockin' show both times we saw them but it definitely lacked in length. Warning to parents who aren't open-minded to vulgarities in their kids' music...don't bring 'em!

    Funn(:

by stella217 on 8/16/11Paradise Rock Club - Boston

Wasn't bad. I mostly went because of I See Stars. However I ended up loving The Color Morale and Breathe Carolina is pretty good live. Most of the bands had alot of energry and so did the crowd excecpt for Chiodos which nobody seemed to like...Over all it wasnt bad . I even got a tshirt for $20 which is pretty cheap for merch. If you like concerts I would reccoment going.I See Stars deff had the most energy and Breathe Carolina came it second!!

    the Masquerade almost came down.

by procrastinatorsloveme on 8/15/11Masquerade - Atlanta

Amazing show, and great performances from perhaps the pioneers of the club-core sound. Concert goers were jumping in unison.. good times. Also loved Chiodos; Circa Survive meets hardcore. Excellent show at a cool venue.

    Breathe stole the show

by Batmayuhn on 8/7/11Masquerade - Atlanta

Breathe Carolina are such good performers. If you're looking to have a good time, and you have a chance to see Breathe. Do it. They're all about hyping up the crowd and getting everyone involved. Kyle and David are really interactive with the crowd which is awesome. Chiodos was enh. The new singer (in my opinion) needs to work on his stage presence more, and be less awkward. I See Stars always know how to get the crowd going. The Air I Breathe were fantastic. The Color Morale were amazing as well. They're also pretty interactive with the crowd. They give out good vibes. All in all, it was an AMAZING concert. If you have the opportunity to see any of the bands above. Take it, you will not regret it. Scream It Like You Mean It was really good :)

    I Think They Meant It

by ThisBird on 8/7/11Masquerade - Atlanta

... to be awesome, because it definitely was. I wasn't able to see each band, but I did see I See Stars, Chiodos, and Breathe Carolina. Typically, I wouldn't enjoy bands like I See Stars and Chiodos, but they put on an amazing show. The crowd in Atlanta was crazy! They had almost everyone jumping. And then Breathe Carolina started their set. What can I say? They're my favorite band and their performance did not let me, or anyone else, down. But we all got down.

    Awesome.

by LtCookie on 8/7/11Masquerade - Atlanta

Breathe Carolina did great. Everything was awesome from the people in the crowd to the bands on stage. The only problem was a few idiots who decided they wanted to try to get to the front right when Breathe Carolina were supposed to play. Like yeah right and my shirt got stretched so I couldn't keep it up. But it was still amazing and I can't wait to see Breathe Carolina again even though I didn't go to see them. I originally bought the tickets to see Mod Sun even though he wasn't there his merch was and they gave me a free bracelets for buying a shirt. But I had a great night.
