GOLD VIP TICKET BRAZIL - ARGENTINA

by rolmil1 on 6/11/12MetLife Stadium - East Rutherford

We purchased 4 GOLD VIP tickets for the friendly game Brazil vs Argentina. While the match was amazing I want to share our experience with the amenities you get. The food was good, but expect a buffet style and lines to get to it. Not what we expected from a so called VIP ticket. Soft drinks are free of charge, but you may want to hold on to your cup! After the game started all cups were put away and You had to purchase a plastic cup for 7 bucks in order to get your soda. What a rip off , esp. when you consider that we paid 400 bucks per ticket. At half time the lines at the bar got even longer and you had to wait at least 10 minutes to get your drink. A beer is about 12 bucks, which seems Within the norm. Overall I think it is overprized and definitely not a good bang for your buck. On the other side it was a great experience, but I wouldn’t purchase these tickets again. Unfortunately it took the managers and players too long to get to the press conference. We left after waiting 1 hour..

    Only one problem

by Leebose on 6/11/12MetLife Stadium - East Rutherford

We tailgated, enjoyed a festive atmosphere, and had lots of fun. i was on stadium premises for 8 hours. the only problem we encountered the entire day was the 45+ minutes it took to get through the gate to enter the stadium, which made us miss the first 10 minutes of the match. the security at the gate was completely understaffed, and the mob of people that developed at the gate as game time approached was the only negative. this is completely unacceptable, but anyone who has been to international soccer matches at MetLife Stadium will not be surprised by this. I have been to many, and it is a recurring problem at this venue.

    Argentina Vs Brazil

Great stadium; well organized; everything nite. Too far away from the field makes the soccer ball too small.

    Clash of The Titans

by ottedeneb on 6/11/12MetLife Stadium - East Rutherford

This event was amazing. We took the train tot he game and met some friend and family to tailgate the hours leading up to the game. Transportation was really easy and very well orchestrated. Both NJTransit and the State Police involved did a phenomenal job getting thousands of people to the stadium before the game and back home after the event in a timely and structured manner (my hat is off to them). The game itself was incredible, no seat in that stadium is bad. What a thrill it was to see Messi playing, even though I was going for Brasil. My only discontent is Brasil played a lot of their young players some favorites like Kaka did not play. As for the venue drinks are pretty expensive but what a beautiful place to see the game. The only thing I didn't like about my whole experience where the ticket master fees on top of the cost of the ticket. These fees are unfair, I don't see how they can justify the same fee for 50,000+ people. I wish there were a way to avoid them but ticket master certainly has a monopoly on these events, oh well.

    Great soccer game and experience

by jhenrique on 6/11/12MetLife Stadium - East Rutherford

The stadium is awesome. We took the NJ transit train from Penn Station and got there in 45 min. The meadowlands train station is right by the stadium entrance gates. Overall, we really enjoyed the trip, the stadium, and the game.

Brazil Argentina - a great day ruined by travel

by HarveyHuynh on 6/11/12MetLife Stadium - East Rutherford

Metlife is a nightmare to get to... we went 2 hours early to the buses and missed the first half due to the horrible company contracted for the event... There were not enough buses and no organization. People who showed up 30 mins later were allowed to fill a bus before us (basically butting in front) because the attendants has no order and didn't care... they just allowed people in the back to board.... Horrible.. just horrible... wont really be going to Metlife again after this.

Best live soccer match we have ever seen

by TivoliJake on 6/11/12MetLife Stadium - East Rutherford

Fabulous game. Wide open. Both teams doing everything to win. Hard to believe it was a friendly (as if there was such a thing between Brazil & Argentina). Very clean game. Very little chippy play. Messi was mesmerizing !! My wife, daughter and two sons joined me at the game. It was an early Father's Day outing. We all concur that it was the best live match we had ever attended

by MEED on 6/11/12MetLife Stadium - East Rutherford

Besides the two great teams, and entertaining play..the Venue was great!! Convenient to NYC and great seats! They should bring more World Class Soccer to the Tri State Area at reasonable prices!!

    Brazil Vs Argentina

by simplynew on 6/11/12MetLife Stadium - East Rutherford

What a jubilation!!! coming from the caribbean and being part of this game was totally home felt. At home, the country is divided between Brazilian fans and Argentinian fans. i was taken back and loved every second of the game. We need to have more friendly rivalry coming to the USA. i am willing to pay

    Great Match

by Barcelona14 on 6/11/12MetLife Stadium - East Rutherford

Had seats on the third level surrounded by a mix of Argentina and Brasil fans. No obnoxious characters and everyone was just cheering for their team. Went with my wife and two other friends and all enjoyed the game.

    Fantastic game

by ErikXX on 6/11/12MetLife Stadium - East Rutherford

Messi's last goal was worth the ticket alone. The only thing negative was the price to park a car ($25), and the cost of concessions ($10 beers, $5 soft drinks)

    Messi was amazing

by Nishu on 6/11/12MetLife Stadium - East Rutherford

Everything was great. When there is a big event then here becomes a huge line for free food in the coaches club. Takes around 40 mins to get the food.

Game realy worth it despite the final result ;-)

by Yanagita on 6/11/12MetLife Stadium - East Rutherford

The whole experience was amazing! the MetLife stadium has so many great amenities and the game itself was outstanding. So many goals and the result was definitely a surprise (bad one for me as a brazilian). Overall, great stadium, great player and a great game.
