With tight harmonies, timeless ballads, and 60 million records sold, Boyz II Men has remained one of the most iconic and successful R&B groups of all time. For the group’s 20th anniversary, Boyz II Men thrilled fans with their tenth studio album aptly titled Twenty. Teaming up again with veteran producer Babyface, the album contains 13 new tracks along with nine remastered classics. Twenty was released in October 2011 to critical acclaim and debuted in the top five of the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. The trio of crooners has remained a compelling concert attraction too, with new and true fans snapping up tickets for a night of nostalgic bliss, funky dance routines, and incomparable talent during their 2013-14 residency at The Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas.
Boyz II Men found success in the early '90s (back then they were a quartet) with their debut album Cooleyhighharmony and the hip hop doo-wop hit “Motownphilly". They quickly followed up with “End of the Road” before releasing their sophomore album II. The album spawned the smash hits “On Bended Knee” and “I’ll Make Love to You”, the latter setting a record for the most weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart (14 weeks) only to be surpassed at 16 weeks with “One Sweet Day”, their collaboration with Mariah Carey. Boyz II Men have continued to tour extensively, including 2013's The Package Tour with fellow "boy bands" New Kids on the Block and 98 Degrees.
Great concert but not worth the money spent. $110 for less than an hour and a half. No opening act, encore. I've seen Boys ll men many times but I think this will be my last time unless they lower ticket prices or make the show longer.
Overall great experience. Only 4 stars due to short show and lack of BIIM songs. I would like less cover music and more original songs.
The concert was great and the guys sounded and looked amazing ….. for the while HOUR it lasted. Super disappointed in how short it was. I’ve never been to a concert that was over in a hr!!!!
We love Boyz II Men and see them almost every time they come to Boston. They always do an amazing job we were just disappointed in how short it was and that they actually started on time. When we arrived there was only one song left, from driving around looking for parking, so money wasted.
I loved the band, all the nostalgic feels, their soulful vocals. It was just an awesome night out.
These guys still sound great! High-energy show. Beautiful venue, too! Great time
We were disappointed that the entire show was only 1 hour long. If they only intend to preform for 1 hour then I suggest they add opening acts. When they were on the stage it was great but again it just was far too short.
It was ok, but the concert was way too short. They missed a lot of songs
The show was great, but it was quick. 1.15 hours. I wouldn't have spent that much money on the tickets then.
Concert was supposed to start at 8pm... Walked into the venue at 7:50 to them already on stage full on performing. Don't really know why they started early but brushed that off. Got to out seat by 8:15 after getting a drink and the concert was over at 9pm sharp. Not really worth the money spent for the show and for my husband and I to stay overnight in Boston. What we did hear sounded great... But literally saw a 45 min show.
A little annoying in the beginning when many people still walking in late and blocking the view of the show 20- 30 minutes into the performance... other than that, great performance! They sound just as good live as they sound on the airwaves... if not better!! Great Time!!
Started promptly at 8p and done by 9:10p played a lot of covered songs but my girl loved it and shook 2 out of the 3’s hands and was happy. If they tour again, will definitely get the tickets. Affordable for the 4th row.
I’m sorry, but I could have stayed home. I paid too much money to pay for not an hour-long, but an hour-short show. That's how fast the show was over. They were good and all, but some songs they didn't even sing from their album. I don't think I'll see them ever again.
I have always loved Boyz to men and have seen them multiple times. My first concert was Boyz to men in approximately 1996 In Mansfield,MA. I last saw them approximately 10 years ago at Twin River in Rhode Island. With this concert in 2024 their age is showing. They preformed for a total of 95 minutes, and 30 of those minutes were Bruno Mars and Leny Kravitz covers. They played maybe 5 or 6 of their own songs while telling the crowd to sit down while they talked for another 15 minutes. I love Boyz 2 Men and always will, but this was a let down, and this Is the last time I will see them unfortunately.
The concert was too short . They were amazing but only performed for less than and hour and 15 mins . They had so many more songs they could have performed
In what world do shows start at the time indicated on the ticket. I’ve been going to shows for over 20 years and never in my life has a headliner STARTED at the ticket time. Why was it not communicated that they wouldn’t have a headliner? We missed the entire show because every single show I’ve ever been to has had the headliner go on at LEAST an hour after ticket time, and that’s what we did, showed up an hour after ticket tome. What a joke.
Just over an hour, thats how long the show was. In that time were a few covers and a few original songs. No encore....while the performance was good I wont see them again. Their effort was poor!
Very excited for a throwback to the 90's with Boyz II Men, but so disappointed by the length of the show. Only on stage for 1 hour & 15 minutes ! Can't say it was worth the $$
The performance was great, however, this was the shortest Boyz II Men concert I've ever attended. It barely lasted an hour. Also, the venue (MGM Music Hall at Fenway) packed everyone in like sardines in tiny folding chairs that were so close together that everyone was on top of each other. I was disappointed that I paid so much for these tickets.
