Hell yeah!
by Avery on 9/26/25Rating: 5 out of 5Saw them open for A Day to Remember and they brought the energy! The heaviest band on the card and they weren’t ashamed of it! I definitely recommend seeing them for anyone into metalcore! 🤟

Boundaries are a five-piece metalcore band from Hartford, Connecticut composed of Matt McDougal (vocals), Kevin Stevens (drums), Brandon Breedlove (bass), Zadak Brooks (guitar) and Cory Emond (guitar). After releasing the 2019 EP My Body In Bloom, the band released their first full-length album, Your Receding Warmth, in 2020 via Unbeaten Records. The album featured the lead single “Carve.” They followed up with Burying The Brightness in 2022 featuring songs such as “Heaven’s Broken Heart” and “Your Own Murder,” leading Metal Injection to describe them as “masters of the groovy hardcore riff,” while “Realize and Rebuild” finds frontman Mac Dougal opening up about his struggles with mental health. In 2024 Boundaries released the album Death Is Little More featuring guest appearances from members of Kublai Khan TX, Alpha Wolf and Invent Animate. The album features the lead single “Easily Erased,” which was released in tandem with an announcement about the band’s first-ever U.S. headlining tour. Joined by Orthodox, Kaonashi, and No Cure, the month-long tour takes the band from Cambridge, Massachusettes to their hometown of Hartford, Connecticut.

Normally I would have issues with the app working in certain area. It becomes annoying especially if I am holding up a line. This time the app worked like a pro. As for the show. It was amazing.
Drove 2 hours from Phoenix to see Boundaries and they did not disappoint! Saw them a while back and they were just as good the second time. Openers were amazing, too! Brought a friend and it was his first metal show, he had a great time. Venue was a little hot, but what do you expect for August in AZ with a bunch of people running around. Lol
My second time seeing their show and once again, killed it! Black Box was such a sick venue-lighting was hot. And every single act really brought the energy. Had the crowd LIVE the whole time!! Can’t wait to see these dudes next time they come around.
Crowd hype and performance always unbelievable. Only complaint is the venue had a barricade for a hardcore show 😑
Sounded amazing and the energy was crazy. Never heard of them but now I can’t stop listening to them
