  • Fun game, terrible arena!

by Mary C. on 1/8/25Climate Pledge Arena - SeattleRating: 3 out of 5

What fun to see two of the teams in the brand-new Professional Women's Hockey League play in Seattle! The 6 teams in the league are all along the east coast, plus one in MN. I can see this league doing very well in the west! We hope they add teams in Vancouver BC, Seattle, Portland, Vegas, SF/SJ/Sacramento, Colorado, and/or LA/Anaheim. Once again, the "aisle seats"I chose due to my husband's prosthetic leg ended up NOT to be on an aisle, but on a railing separating the aisle from the overpriced "club"seats in the section next to us. If you're going to configure an arena with most of the lower bowl taken up by "club"seating, at least don't lie on the TM seating chart! Also overpriced: the food and drink -- so we didn't buy any!

The PWHL takeover game was VERY exciting and fun for the whole family. The music and sing alongs made everyone smile.

  • Great experience with our grandchildren

by Bpearce on 1/8/25Climate Pledge Arena - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

What a wonderful event. We brought our theee grandchildren and they loved it. Women’s sports is underrated in general, so we were glad to see this event promoted so well. We need more of this in Seattle. The only negative is food and drink prices at the venue.

  • Monumental day in women's sports!

    by LPM_SEA_20 on 1/8/25Climate Pledge Arena - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

What an amazing experience to see so many women who've made history in sports in one place (including surprise visit by Sue Bird and Megan Rapinoe!). We had amazing seats at a reasonable price and loved the game. I would say it would have been nice to have active commentating throughout the game - not sure why that wasn't present. Highly recommend to anyone considering the PWHL Takeover Tour in another city!

  • Great Game

by Alfie on 1/8/25Climate Pledge Arena - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

The arena, atmosphere, and game were incredible. Unfortunately, the PWHL merchandise for sale was not good. Gear from all 6 teams should have been for sale. Jerseys, hats, shirts and more would have sold, but the league and/or venue were unprepared and left thousands of dollars on the table.

  • Amazing Vibe

by Danielle on 1/8/25Climate Pledge Arena - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

I had an absolute blast cheering on the PWHL teams! The fans were full of excitement and there to have fun. The players brought it all to the ice and we got a shootout! I brought my husband, son and nephew and everyone came away excited about hockey! I have been to a handful of hockey games at Climate Pledge and I have yet to have a bad seat (from on the boards to the rafters).

  • Let’s get an expansion league in Seattle

The women put on a great game. It was a packed house. Let’s get an expansion team out here in Seattle. More great hockey!

by Sue G on 1/8/25Climate Pledge Arena - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

The PWHL is so amazing, I hope the PNW gets an expansion team! Seattle showed up! It was wonderful to see all the signs and young athletes there celebrating Women's hockey.

  • Awesome time!

    by Imjtaylor79 on 1/8/25Climate Pledge Arena - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

I took my 10 year old girls, who are interested in skating and hockey thanks to our 84 year old neighbor, who also attended. We all had a great time! And the Climate Pledge underground valet parking made for an incredibly fast escape from the city. Definitely worth it.

  • So much FUN

    by Hockeyfan84 on 1/8/25Climate Pledge Arena - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

I love this arena. It is by far one of the most electric arenas in the US. The self-serve concessions make it easy to grab a bite quickly and get back to the action. The game itself was incredible. Both teams played so well and it was just incredibly exciting to watch. Please bring more PWHL games to Climate Pledge Arena!!

  • A great experience

So much fun seeing the PWHL at Climate Pledge, the event was super fun and the crowd was amazing! Cheering the Boston Fleet to victory was exciting and we look forward to seeing more PWHL hockey in our city soon!

  • The PWHL is a rocking good time

by JBapty on 3/25/24Little Caesars Arena - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

My first time at LCA and it's clear that Detroit would not only support, but deserves a PWHL team. Had an amazing time at the game, great atmosphere, great rink, and we got our money's worth with the shootout! Phenomenal experience all round.

  • Magical PWHL Experience

The arena was awesome, the event was even better go girl power!

  • WOW! If Detroit gets a PWHL team we will get season seats.

by COACH on 3/22/24Little Caesars Arena - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

Hockey at the LCA is already an amazing experience - the Red Wings prove that each year. Now we have a professional league for the other side - the girls (ladies - pick a title). The crowd was great and who watched the game was amazing. Young families and girls cheered and helped make the game exciting and this part is crucial for the league to prosper like it should. Detroit should be proud to have showcased such great talent and more importantly the largest ever crowd for a women's hockey game in the USA. The PWHL should be taking advantage of this popularity and expand sooner than later. Detroit is ready now so give us a team and let our fans show the league how you do hockey.

  • Beyond amazing

by Jay on 3/22/24Little Caesars Arena - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

The atmosphere is amazing. They get the crowd involved every chance they get. Honestly better than watching an NHL games with the affordability and crowd engagement.

  • PWHL game in Detroit
