Boston Bruins History
Established in 1924, the Boston Bruins were the first American team to join the NHL. They won their first of six Stanley Cup championships in just their fifth season in 1929, defeating the defending champions New York Rangers. It was the first Stanley Cup championship to feature two U.S. teams. The Bruins added championships in 1939 and 1941, and between 1943 and 1958 they reached the final five more times.
After the arrival of future Hall of Famers Bobby Orr (a three-time MVP) and Phil Esposito (one of the greatest goal-scorers of all time and the first player to score 100 points in a season), the Bruins won Stanley Cup Championships in 1970 and 1972. The image of Orr flying through the air after scoring "The Goal" in overtime to defeat the St. Louis Blues in 1970 is one of the most memorable in hockey history.
On April 9, 2023, the Bruins beat the Philadelphia Flyers 5-3, marking their 63rd win of the season and setting a new NHL record for the most single-season wins. They made history again on April 12 when they reached 133 points scored in a single season thanks to a 5-2 win over the Washington Capitals, besting the 1976-77 Montreal Canadiens for the NHL team with the most points scored in a single season.
Twenty-nine straight appearances in the Playoffs followed — a record among all professional sports — including Stanley Cup Final appearances in 1974, 1977–1978, 1988, and 1990.
After a two-decade absence, the Bruins returned to the Stanley Cup Final in 2011, defeating the Vancouver Canucks in a thrilling seven-game series behind the goaltending of Tim Thomas. To date, the Bruins have made 20 appearances in the Stanley Cup Final, including most recently in 2019. Legendary players who have worn the Bruins’ jersey include Hall of Famers Cecil "Tiny" Thompson, Eddie Shore, and Aubrey "Dit" Clapper.

All was enjoyable but for one thing - I do not like or want digital tickets. I prefer and like printed tickets as I keep them in a scrap book or album after the event is over. I have (had) hundreds of ticket stubs from events dating back to the 1960's. tickets on a phone can not be easily placed in an album or scrap book.
It was a very good game. Everyone cheered the Bruins on and there won!
WORKERS HELPFUL GREAT GAME NO PROMLEM PARKING SEATS GREAT PRICE MORE THAN FAIR
Love watching live hockey. The energy from hockey fans is just different. Great game between two top teams
The Bruins played an exciting game and kept their home game winning streak alive! We weee there to see it live! Very happy to be part of history!
Best super game ever. My gerls and I love the Garden and Bruins!
The atmosphere is the best at a Bruins game. The seats (2) were good, had a wall behind and a wall to one side, which wasn’t obvious when purchasing. This led to feeling a little cramped in a corner.
the Staff at the garden was awesome! i would highly recommend the experience to others! Especially the ease for the app and the pre parking reservations at the event
Great seats, excellent view , but chairs were too tight! TD Garden replaced wider seats for narrower seats! Example: 33 wide seats were replaced with 36 narrower seats! They added 3 more narrower seats per row! The seats were more of a tighter squeeze! Other than that, the seats were great!
we had amazing seats and never prepaid for parking and we parked right next to the venue. super easy trip. i highly recommend spending the little extra to get close seats!!
First time at the TD Garden so wandered around. Great sight lines. Great concourse. Plenty of concession options. Facility staff was competent and friendly. I had an A+ experience. Brought two daughters and they both couldn’t stop talking about how great the arena was. We highly recommend.
Honestly, I went to the bruins game in hopes of seeing one individual play. Charlie Coyle, number 13. When I was watching warmups, I noticed he wasn’t there. I was saddened by this. I was really hoping I would be able to see that fine man wack around a little black puck.
My 11 year old goalie and I went to watch the Bruins Oct 1, pre season game. It was such an incredible time, start to finish! We felt safe, comfortable and totally entertained! Thank you Bruins, thank you TD Garden!
Place was rocking for game 4 Bruins vs Hurricanes. Fan fest, the showing of fans on scorecard IS GREAT!!!!
Best game ever. My wife and I love the Garden and Bruins!
Great playoff hockey fast skating great play making and scoring goals. Seats were great as well
What a game! The Garden was rockin through the entire game! Everyone should go to a playoff Bruins game.
Awesome! Simple purchase, great seats and a great performance by the Boston Bruins
TD Garden is a great place to watch a hockey game. Very easy to get to via public transportation, which is the best bet. Must get a very large slice of pizza while at the game. Many restaurants also around the TD Garden area.
