  • Shredder

by Chad S on 7/13/25Off Broadway - Saint LouisRating: 5 out of 5

Last minute change of Venue to Off Broadway created an intimate experience with Bones and his accompanying drummer. Astonishing the amount of sound from a two-piece, with Bones layering guitar and vocals into the perfect mix of melody/harmony on absolute bangers of a set. Will definitely seek out more shows from Bones and cannot wait for the new album in September.

  • Can’t Wait for More!!!

We saw Bones for the first time in May of this year at The Shed opening up for BlackBerry Smoke & absolutely loved it!! We enjoyed it so much that we went June 19 to the Grey Eagle in Asheville to see them again. Both times have been phenomenal!! We have met Bones & Doy both times; they are both so nice & friendly. They don’t mind at all to sign records, take pics & carry on a conversation. They are great & we can’t wait to see them many more times!! If you want Loud, Hard Hitting, Unforgettable music….Bones Owens is for you!!!

  • Blown Away

    by JAC1103 on 8/16/24Rating: 5 out of 5

Saw Bones play at Whisky's Firewater Festival in KS in '21 for the first time. Blown Away! Made our way to the front of the stage and haven't looked back. Alternative rock, rock, whatever you want to call his style. You won't be disappointed!

First seen him at the Fillmore in Detroit, opened for Kaleo. It was amazing, he completely blew me away. I just got to see him again at the Machine Shop and I will see him again. These guys do not disappoint.

  • In love

I first saw Bones at a Whiskey Myers gig in Richmond and die to a really bad thunderstorm that night (it was an outdoor gig) he only got to play for like 10 minutes, but that was enough for me to absolutely fall in love with that man! I love his sound and his presence and it’s crazy how one man just standing there, singing and playing his guitar, is enough to be a show! I couldn’t wait to see him again and I saw him last year in DC as the warm up gig for a terrible band. We went there just to see him and it was so worth it!!! We even got to meet him after the gig in the lobby and him and his friend were the nicest people. He signed a record I bought and we chatted and took a few pictures together. I can’t wait to see him again this year!!!

Interesting sound for a 2 person group. Hard driving music.

  • Hoping for more headlining shows from Bones

I found Bones Owens at a Reignwolf show last year and they blew me away. Bones and Lance put on a kickass show. So much so that I blew off a different concert I had tickets to and bought tickets to another show of theirs on that tour. I was excited to see them Headline because that meant a longer set. It was so great! 🤘🏼
