My wife and I enjoy Jon Bon. The band has many songs that are great to sing along. Overall the show was enjoyable. It was a little short, just over 2 hours. The 2 song encore would be my biggest complaint.
Unfortunately the opening band, Billy Falscon was not very good, but the mood definitely changed when Bon Jovi came on. He and the band looked and sounded as good if not better than 25 yrs ago!
My only major problem with the concert was that if you are going to lip sync some songs do it well. Richie Sambora was absolutely horrible at it. I suppose the easier thing would have been to not pan on his face with the camera so it maybe would not have been so obvious?
Fantastic show!! Highly reccomended! Bon Jovi still has it have nearly 3 decades. Played pretty much all of their hits and threw in a couple of other songs also.
Excellent show, highly recommended. A little crazy getting out of the parking lot afterwards (we took a cab and the cab line was disorganized). But, a tremendous experience!
Amaziing, simply amazing. The sound quality, lighting effects, songs chosen, crowd participation, quality of the performance, the non-stop lyrics; amazing.
Great performance by Bon Jovi! Song selection was just what the audience wanted to hear. Visuals were outstanding. Sound was perfect - bass and treble perfectly mixed. Audience was great - sang along with Jon, danced and roared appreciatively at the end of every song. The crowd was INCREDIBLY LOUD! They really enjoyed the show. And Jon gave them his rock star best - great energy and flashed that smile to the roar of the crowd. Hope they make more appearances in Raleigh! This is the seventh Bon Jovi show that I've attended - and Raleigh's audience topped Philly and DC in enthusiasm!
I drove 24 hrs round trip to see him!!!! Worth EVERY MINUTE!!!!!
Bon Jovi played all of the old favorites as well as some new gems. They had lots of energy and had the crowd pumped up throughout.
Great show, I just wish there was another opening act like last year. Overall fantastic!
Concert was good but not as good as the one last April in Charlotte. Acoustical numbers were less than enjoyable. Seating seems to be ok, but very hard to get a decent seat earlier. Seems the longer you wait the better seats open and makes it appear that the poor seats are really being pushed first resulting in me almost saying that It was not worth it.
If you are a fan of Bon Jovi or any of his music, you should definitely see this show. I bought the cheapest seats available- upper level behind the stage- and by the second song, I knew I'd gotten my money's worth. They played all the songs I went to hear. After decades of touring, Jon's voice is still amazing. The energy of the entire band was fantastic. The sound was just right. Even though my view of the stage wasn't great, they had awesome rotating screens with giant close-up shots of the action. If you've never seen Bon Jovi, you are missing out. I will plan on going next time they come to town.
Very expensive especially if you want to be up close... but it's Bon Jovi... one of the greatest rock bands of the last 30 years. Jon is amazing!
The last time I saw Bon Jovi, it was the Slippery When Wet Tour and it rocked the house, but the Bon Jovi Live Tour was absolutely AMAZING! They played non-stop, with high energy and stamina! It was soo worth the money for the tickets! I would pay to see them again and again! Had 5 great girl friends along for the show too and they LOVED IT! Way to Go Bon Jovi! Keep up the great work!
They put on such an awesome show! I've seen them over 50 times since 1989 and they just keep getting better!!! If you get the chance, GO. You won't regret it!
Bon Jovi always gives 110% and this was no exception! Great energy, nice mix of old and new. Whenever they come back, we'll be back, too.
This was the second time I actually ventured to see this show. While i believe that the first time i saw the show they played a few more songs the show was excellent and dialed in as you would expect it to be for a band that has been around as long as they have. Highly recommend catching it if you get the chance....
This is a must see for any true Bon Jovi fan. If you can afford it, go for the floor seats. If I would have realized the stage layout and the surprises in store I would have. The guys put on a great show. UNfortunately, you can tell the years have taken their toll on their voices, (expected for someone who's been recording and performing for 25-30 years,) especially towards the end of the show. A lot of the more high energy sounds were performed acoustic and the old high notes and shrieks in the songs are now deep low notes. But they put on a great show, sang all the favories plus many others, and the audience was really having a good time interacting with the band and singing along. Jon still comes off as such a nice guy and they are still passionate about what they do.
Awesome concert! A great mix of songs -- the guys sing all of your favorites and some of their newer songs. We had tickets behind the stage and were entertained the entire time. The video screens and stage setup were amazing. The only downside was that this concert was on a Monday night and it was really hard to go to work on Tuesday.
Excellent concert - over 2 hrs of geat songs and hits. Not too much wait time after opening act before main show (although the opening act wasn't very good - bad sound). Would go back tomorrow.
