Bobby Shmurda on Tour

A Bobby Shmurda concert is not where you go if you'd like to remain seated, legs politely crossed, happily taking in the show. A Bobby Shmurda concert is where you go to party. To dance the Shmoney like no one's watching. And to experience the incredible thrill ride of a Bobby Shmurda performance.

High energy, full of dance moves and high on life, Bobby Shmurda, whose real name is Ackquille Jean Pollard, is back in a big way after a seven-year absence. And to mark the release of his 2022 EP (and first since 2014), Bodboy, he's heading out on the Bodmon Tour in 2022 with special guest Rowdy Rebel. His first release as an independent artist, Shmurda says Bodboy is all him and for the true Bobby Shmurda fans.

Bodboy features one of the summer's biggest hits, "Hoochie Daddy," which Shmurda says he wrote for the ladies. He says the recently released EP is the warm-up for his upcoming full-length album release, which is sure to be epic.

Bobby Shmurda Live in Concert

Bobby Shmurda was born Ackquille Jean Pollard in Miami, Florida, on August 4, 1994. When his father was sentenced to prison just a year after Shmurda was born, his mother moved the family to East Flatbush in Brooklyn. Shmurda has been very open about his troubled childhood and challenges with the law. In 2014, he was sentenced to six years in prison and was released on February 23, 2021. He managed to keep his music career afloat in prison and had enough material upon release to head straight into the studio.

Bobby Shmurda's fame came quickly in 2014 with "Hot N****," a song he recorded in one hour for $20 in a Brooklyn studio. The song has had more than 4 million plays on Spotify and more than 824 million YouTube views. Epic Records took note and immediately signed him to a record deal. He released his first EP, Shmurda She Wrote, in November of 2014, featuring another hit single, "Bobby B****."

Having plenty of time to write while in prison, Shmurda quickly released several singles in 2021, including the viral hits "No Time For Sleep," "Shmoney" featuring Quavo and Rowdy Rebel and "Getting Em Back."

His first full-length album, Ready To Live, is set to be released in 2023.

    The best performance I seen

    by Irene Hernandez on 2/10/23

Bobby Shmurda's energy is unbelieveably on the next level. It was exciting to hear his hit songs in a loud system. The opening acts performed some great songs also.

    Worth the wait

by Jonboy Meme on 1/18/23House of Blues Boston - Boston

The first DJ played some questionable artists (Tekashi 69), but they were otherwise fine. I think some people in the crowd left earlier because of the snow/thought the artist cancelled due to the show being a reschedule. It was a very exciting concert especially when Bobby came out
