Bob Woodward Tickets

While I was anticipating a fully engaged evening, I was disappointed when the sound system was uneven. Each time the speakers turned their heads to address each other, the sound was too low; their voices lost to the audience. I wish they had used a wired headset microphone that would have caught all of the conversation. These seasoned veteran journalists are extraordinary and dynamic but so much was missed due to the incorrect choice for projecting their voices.

I had an opportunity to experience a conversation with. Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein live at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center on October 26. Both revered journalists were articulate, funny, and pointed in their comments about Nixon and Watergate, and former President Trump and his reported criminality. Bernstein was more eloquent and audible. Woodward, who did not use a microphone and who literally sat sideways, was at times difficult to hear and follow. Overall, it was enjoyable to experience and learn from that conversation.

Bob Woodward loves storytelling and he has so many stories to tell. Wish there had been more time to hear both Bob and Carl Bernstein.

Old school journalism and work ethics just reminds about the importance of the truth while reporting "stories". Congratulations to Bob, Carl and NJPAC for a fun evening!

Woodward & Bernstein made history with their discovery & release of the sordid watergate affair. Hearing them talk about it and connect it to the problems we are facing today was both fascinating & illuminating

I loved the way this was presented. Having a newspaper reporter asking questions, while sitting in a comfortable chair. He was top notch - loved it!

What a great talk! Bob Woodward is iconic and he spoke about what's happening today compared to the Nixon scandal very eloquently. He answered audience questions with grace, humor and truthfulness. I was so grateful to be there.

Bob is a brilliant journalist and well into his 70s is still continuing to interview, write and inform the public of his historical findings in our country. He was most interesting to listen to and his knowledge of leaders is vast with very little political bias. He also has a sense of humor that I didn’t expect on the subjects he has covered and I could have listened to him for hours!
