The Blue Scholars have the ability to do so much on one stage in one night. They blew my mind - cant wait for their next show.

by michellerafa on 11/13/11Bowery Ballroom - NEW YORKTHE BLUE SCHOLARS WERE AMAZING!!!! I knew this show was going to be awesome because of the line up. The Physics, Grynch, Sol, and Bambu all rocked Bowery Ballroom and made it a show that could've been straight out of Seattle. I also got to go up on stage! AMAZING show YOU MUST SEE THEM
Rating: 5 out of 5by rliao on 11/13/11Bowery Ballroom - NEW YORK It was my first concert and the best first concert I could have asked for. The opening groups were great, and even though it took awhile for Blue Scholars to come on, Geo & Sabzi did not disappoint. Not only were they great performers but they but on a fantastic and hilarious show for everyone. SO SO GOOD.

Rating: 4 out of 5 Tons of energy
by 206music on 11/13/11Paradise Rock Club - BostonThe first performer didn't come out until an hour after the show was supposed to start, but once the crowd filled in things got started. grynch, sol, and bambu got the crowd pumped up for Blue scholars, and they just rocked the crowd. They all came back out for an encore after the crowd cheered for about 3 minutes. it was great

Rating: 5 out of 5 Town All Day
by imissyourhands on 9/24/11Showbox at the Market - SeattleAll I have to say is that the Blue Scholars are amazing. This being their hometown stop on the tour made the night INCREDIBLE and the energy powerful. Easily the best concert I've ever been too. Highly reccomend. Can't wait to see them again. The Physics were good too, not as good as I imagined, but Bambu was really great. I didn't really like his recorded music but he's much better live, and I like the content of his lyrics. All of the acts connected really well with the audience. Each of them made you feel special for being there and you can really tell they care about their fans.
Rating: 4 out of 5 I loved it
by kedeger on 9/20/11Showbox at the Market - SeattleBlue Scholars was amazing and a great representation of Seattle. Bambu was also great. The venue was great too. The only thing I didn't like was the DJ playing for 3 hours with no artist.
Rating: 3 out of 5 BAMBU WAS THE BOMB
by jogo99 on 9/20/11Showbox at the Market - Seattlethe concert was very good and average, at the same time. I hated how long it took for the concert to start. We waited so long to see the Blue scholars. BAMBU was so good!!
Rating: 5 out of 5by Anonymous on 9/19/11Showbox at the Market - Seattle Geo... I cannot explain my passion for this guy! He feeds off of his fans. Most artists say that they're all about the fans but leave it at that, Geo cares enough to know their names, talk to them like they're his equal, he loves us!! The opening acts sucked in my opinion.. I guess that is due to my comparison to BS. They weren't awful but if was going to see them again I'd wait the 3 hours and do something else then just come for BS. Best live show I've been to. They performed some classics too and came back for an encore.. So sweet!! Geo for President!

Rating: 3 out of 5 Blue Scholars outdone by opening act
by Anonymous on 10/27/10Wonder Ballroom - PortlandBlue scholars altered their songs so much for the live show that they weren't even recognizable, very unimpressed by them. However, Grieves from rhymesayers opened for them and brought Budo with him. They were awesome, Grieves had great energy and a good voice and Budo showed his skills with the guitar, keyboard, and trumpet, all the while mixing, best opening act I've ever seen.
Rating: 5 out of 5by CBurch on 10/26/10Wonder Ballroom - Portland The Blue Scholars had an amazing performance to follow their may 2010 appearance. I liked the feeling in the Wonder Ballroom better than the Hawthorne. We got to hear some of the songs that will drop on the next album... oh my god, I'm so excited! Sabzi's new beats were insanely fresh. Grieves and Budo were amazing.
Rating: 5 out of 5by Anonymous on 10/26/10Wonder Ballroom - Portland Great experience, Scholars played every song i hoped for and only left me with a deeper want to further explore their music and there ideals. 2 great personable guys who stay true to their roots and their show proves that. Props to the Wonder Ballroom staff for cleaning up the puke before Grieves went out that took a lot of courage.

Rating: 5 out of 5 Blue Scholars rocked the ballroom
by MojoJimbo on 10/25/10Wonder Ballroom - PortlandThis was the first Blue Scholars show I have attended. They're flavor of hip-hop is the kind I bump on my iPod. Even though the venue was moderately small the show itself was huge. These guys and Grieves/Budo were funny and very creative with their music. If u love real hip-hop (not the overplayed radio crap) check these cats out!
