About

Blue Öyster Cult is an American rock band formed in New York in 1967. The group is well known for three songs: The 1976 single "(Don't Fear) The Reaper" from the album Agents of Fortune, the 1981 single "Burnin' for You" from the album Fire of Unknown Origin, and "Godzilla" (1977) from Spectres . The band is a pioneer in heavy metal music both for its hard-edged musical assault and its use of sci-fi and occult imagery.

  • Great show

by Mike B. on 7/15/24Bally's Event Center - LincolnRating: 5 out of 5

I've seen Blue Oyster Cult a few times but the show at twin river was by far the best show. The band was tight and they sounded great. It was just a very very good show. Only complaint was the seats were the most uncomfortable seats ever. Again, the band was great. Twin river should invest a little and get some halfway decent seats. Guitar work was great. Very enjoyable show.

  • Aren't you here for the music?!

by Patriotsedge on 7/15/24Bally's Event Center - LincolnRating: 5 out of 5

Casino is definitely a strange place. The room was good, sound ok. BOC still a lot of fun. I know its different now but people are amazingly rude. It was constant traffic back and forth to the bar. I don't think some near us saw 30 minutes of the show. Aren't we here for the music?

  • Band was on point...

  • slightly dissapointed

by elly on 7/15/24Bally's Event Center - LincolnRating: 3 out of 5

The veniew is not too great, we had no food avabile after show, and the show was only and hour and 10 minuets . not to sure if I would travel all the way from Mass to RI again

  • Blue Oyster Cult still has it!!!

by Tree on 7/15/24Bally's Event Center - LincolnRating: 4 out of 5

Blue Oyster Cult at Bally’s Twin River Casino put a solid high energy Rock & Roll show!! They sounded good and the vocals were good 👍 They did an excellent version of “ Burning for You” and of course, Don’t Fear the Reaper. All in all a good time. Nothing like live Rock & Roll on a Friday night 👍👍

  • BOC was the #1 band at top of my bucket list to see

by BUCKET LIST on 7/15/24Bally's Event Center - LincolnRating: 5 out of 5

This was a great show! I crossed paths with Buck before the performance, what a treat to have that happen. Was a little disappointed they didn't do any encore, but all in all, I really want to see BOC again!

  • No cowbell

by Capthenn on 7/5/24Lynn Auditorium - LynnRating: 4 out of 5

They still sound really good, glad I went. No cowbell though.

  • Great show!

by Croz on 6/30/24Lynn Auditorium - LynnRating: 5 out of 5

Fantastic guitars! They play like 30-year-olds and absolutely defy the whole aging process! We had a blast!

  • Great show

by Lynne on 6/29/24Lynn Auditorium - LynnRating: 5 out of 5

The band was great and they played longer than I thought they would. Very well practiced with vocals and harmonizing.

  • Great show at BOC!

Concert was awesome. Great venue, parking was easy, good choices for food around venue and the band was great!

  • Great!

by Katy & Josh on 6/29/24Lynn Auditorium - LynnRating: 5 out of 5

Lynn Memorial Auditorium was surprisingly great. Intimate with great sound. The Blue Oyster Cult blew us away. We knew the songs everyone knows but we were blown away at how great the songs we didn’t know were. So glad we went, we would definitely go to this venue again and see this band again.

  • BÖC better than ever

by Backstage Pix on 2/19/24Muckleshoot Casino Events Center - AuburnRating: 5 out of 5

Blue Öyster Cult, 50 years plus on tour delivers a commanding performance of new songs Tainted Blood, That was Me, and cult classics Burning For You, Godzilla, Don’t Fear the Reaper, Last Days of May and more,Donald Roeser “Buck Dharma “, Eric Bloom, Richie Castillo rip it up on vocals and guitar. Solid Rhythm section Danny Miranda on bass and Jules Radino on drums. Vocals were spot on with 3 part harmony and sing a longs loved by crowd.

  • Amazing show, in descent venue!!

by Dave on 2/6/24Muckleshoot Casino Events Center - AuburnRating: 5 out of 5

Blue Oyster Cult were incredible, they played all the bangers and sound as great as ever. The venue is a giant ballroom, which was fine because we had seats up front, not sure I'd want seats in the back. The sound was great, and the video screens were a good addition. I would definitely go again if I could secure similar seats.

  • Great show

by Lin on 1/31/24Muckleshoot Casino Events Center - AuburnRating: 5 out of 5

Enjoyed the show. They played a lot of newer songs but still had time for the old ones.

  • Amazing!!!

by Joe on 1/30/24Muckleshoot Casino Events Center - AuburnRating: 4 out of 5

The band was as good as it gets co.mbined the sound in the event center was the most amazing cocert I have seen .

  • Bad Vocal Sound

by Sal on 1/30/24Muckleshoot Casino Events Center - AuburnRating: 3 out of 5

The Event Center needs to work on the sound mixing. You can’t hear any of the Vocals, only the music. 2nd Concert I’ve seen there and it was the same problem as the 1st.

  • Excellent

by Jon on 1/30/24Rating: 5 out of 5

Incredible show from an amazing band. They even came back for 3 encore songs. Would definitely love to see them again!

  • Ability to sell tickets

by Penquin on 1/30/24Muckleshoot Casino Events Center - AuburnRating: 3 out of 5

I wanted to sell my ticket, because I was unable to make the concert, but was unable to do so due to the venue having control over if I can swll my ticket. Venues shouldn't have the control over if a person wants or needs to sell their ticket they already have gotten there money.

  • Band was good but not the best arena

by Windrider on 1/30/24Muckleshoot Casino Events Center - AuburnRating: 4 out of 5

The band was awesome but the arena acoustics sucks and the stage is tiny not to mention that the camera crew has a lot to learn on how to do close ups and focus on the lead guitars and solo. Light show was poor and lacked any special effects or anything. Seating is bad as you can’t see past the person in front of you. Not the best place to see a concert.
