The group is well known for three songs: The 1976 single "(Don't Fear) The Reaper" from the album Agents of Fortune, the 1981 single "Burnin' for You" from the album Fire of Unknown Origin, and "Godzilla" (1977) from Spectres . The band is a pioneer in heavy metal music both for its hard-edged musical assault and its use of sci-fi and occult imagery.

BOC can still rip it up! They haven't lost anything at all, still putting on a fantastic show. The guitars, of course, have always been a big part of their performance, and they did not disappoint. Fantastic riffs! This was a great concert.
I've been a fan for 50 years and seen them multiple times, although last time was 30 years ago. I dragged some non BOC fans with me and they loved it... especially the jamming on Last Days of May. They were excellent, even though I kind of miss the lasers shot in my eyeballs, 50 foot Godzilla prop and Harley on the stage. I wish they would have played Nosferatu and I Love the Night. Maybe next time. Great show!!!!!!
Fantastic show @ a Great venue, Blue Oyster Cult still Rocks with the Best!!! Never disappointed when BOC plays their classics and the Grove of Anaheim an intimate location for rock concerts.
The venue is good, easy parking. Sound needs a lot of improvement , too much reviberation clouding the music. Needs sound damping.
My first Blue Öyster Cult show was back in 1988, and this one marked number twenty-five — Eric and Buck were effortless in their badassery, Ritchie was absolutely on fire, and the whole band delivered yet another killer performance. Man, they were good!
This may be the best guitar work I have seen....ever. Rockett Mafia (basically Rikki Rockett from Poison's cover band) opened and the lead singer even said he had a bit of a cold. They got through the first 2 songs and then found their groove. Very fun performance with songs across rock and pop that everyone knew BOC The band was clearly having a LOT of fun. They hit the stage hard and never let go. The performance was just phenomenal from start to finish. At one point, they pulled a song off the 2020 album (Tainted Blood) and then went ALL the way back to the first album to pull the next song. Incredible performance
First I must say that I had not heard a lot of their songs prior to the show but that's only because I didn't really listen to them before. I of course knew Godzilla, Dont Fear the Reaper, and Burning for You. With that said, I thought they're music was AWESOME. Even though I didn't know the songs they were great and these guys can rock. If I had to knock anything out was the music level was a bit higher than the vocals and sometimes I was staining to hear the words, but I think that was more of an issue with the venue not them. Can't wait until they come back so I can see them again.
I saw BOC in 1984 in my hometown Osnabrück/Germany. Now in 2025 it was good time to see them another time 😍 It was great,
First time seeing Blue Öyster Cult and they did not disappoint. Buck Dharma was amazing and Eric's voice was better than I thought it would be. Highlights were Before the Kiss, a Redcap and I Love the Night. If this is the last concert I go to, I will be happy.
