My 8yr old grandson said it was his favorite activity out of this visit. It was his first live entertainment of any type. All the visuals are perfect to keep you and old alike engaged. Glad they brought the show to my area.
It was my first concert and i bought my mother tickets around Christmas to go see them. It was no disappointment!!! It was awesome. My first time ever seeing them and it was awesome!!!! I am really looking forward to seeing them again!!!
The actors were great and really engaged the audience. I found the show a bit odd/bizarre at times with no real cohesion throughout though. It seemed like a disjointed array of bizarre acts with no context. I left a bit confused and unfulfilled. I think kids would like it
This was my 8th Blue Man show, and it didn't disappoint! New twists & tricks, thumping music, big laughs!
Not even half of the show I experienced last time at the civic center. There was definitely more than 3-4 blue man there and everything seemed really toned down this time too.
I've seen Blue Man Group about 3 times over the last 2 decades. This show felt dated, with no real “fresh” content. The guys on stage felt like they were just going through the motions.
Amazing! always a good time with the blue men! Funny, talented, and just an overall fun experience.
I had purchased seats early and paid for front row. I had confirmed tickets for this show. Several weeks later I received an email with no explanation other than your seats are being moved to row D. I called the information in the email as well as ticket master with no information on why I was moved and no change in ticket price. We got to the show and the front row was filled up as well as all the rows between us and the front row. VERY dissatisfied with this since I paid front row price. The show was entertaining, my daughter loved it from what she could see, sound quality was less than expected for the venue. Over all I am rating 3 stars for the whole experience.
Show was only 80 minutes. Skits where long and drawn out. The only people laughing where the kids. Didn’t appear any paint was sprayed on the crowd. Tickets were over priced and the music was barely played before it was stopped for another skit that ate up a chunk of time with no actual humor.
Loved the snow, amazing performance. The way they involved the audience so much made it that much better! Funny and entertaining!
We left after the first hour. We would have preferred it more upbeat and fast. Maybe it improved after the first hour. Not sure because we decided to leave. We are others would enjoy it. Just wasn’t our thing.
They were very entertaining. Was great to see people of all ages. Loved the show. Amazing at what they can make music out of. Love the comedy. They were very audience orientated. Gave 4 stars as I would have liked to see more comedy in their show. I' ve seen other comedy from previous shows that wasn't used. And the other reason was that the show was only 90 minutes. Have been to other venues where I've paid the same price for a ticket and the show was 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
Bought the tickets for my husband for Christmas to make his dream of seeing the BLUEMAN Group for the first time ever. Man oh man they did NOT disappoint! Thank you so much for an immeasurably enjoyable show!
This was such a high energy show! Great music and funny comedy wrapped into a single experience. Nothing else like it.
I saw the Blue Man Group over 10 years ago and was amazed! Couldn't wait to see them again and share the experience with others - especially after talking about how great the show was going to be. Unfortunately the show was VERY slow to start and had no real storyline (if it did, I could not follow it - neither could my 3 guests). The skill level is extraordinary but for the price and the barely-over-a-hour show, I can deem it as nothing but expensive.
This was our third time seeing Blue Man Group. I was so excited, because the other two time I absolutely loved them. I was very disappointed this time. Even though it has been probably about 4 years since the last time we saw them, 3 of the skits were exactly the same. The ones that were different were nothing special. Just an ok show. Really lacked energy, and a lot of the "oddness" from previous shows.
Lots of drumming, my 5 an 10 year old loved it. They also loved the confetti. I would not waste money on this lousy show for myself. I thought it was horrible, and boring. Bring your kids, just dont think its something for you.
Wasn’t as great as I remember from my first time seeing Blue Man Group in NYC in 2009. This time- laughs felt forced, not as much colors/paint. Too much crowd involvement and “videos” of the crowd. I honestly didn’t love it. I wanted to be impressed - but instead I was just waiting for something cool to happen and having a forced chuckle or two every now and then. Won’t be back to see BMG.
I was expecting more from the group. I always wanted to see them in Vegas but never got the chance. Now that I saw them- was not happy, came out of the show dissatisfied. The audience participation has to go- that part was not enjoyable either- we even were asked to stand up to do some stretching- that’s how boring it was .
But honestly it was a bit confusing... It did not live up to my expectations... I probably would not go again
