    LOVED it so much!!

by DarcyDee on 10/31/16Teragram Ballroom - Los Angeles

I have wanted to see Blind Pilot for years- since I was a kid! They were everything I wanted them to be and more! I was pleasantly surprised when the trumpet had a few awesome solos. They're so fun and have an easygoing, yet pulsing energy! Very cool and super thankful to the audience. Really hope they'll come back soon- I'm totally going again!

    Blind Pilot at Neptune

    by LynS1975 on 10/25/16Neptune Theatre - Seattle

Blind Pilot was amazing! Such a talented band. I saw them 2 nights previous to this show at the Crystal Ballroom in Portland, Oregon. The Neptune in my opinion is a better venue due to the fact that it is smaller and cozier. The sound is much better. If you are at the farthest seat on the mezzanine, you are still relatively close to the stage. I personally wouldn't want to be on the floor unless I was near the stage. Seeing over people's heads would be an issue. I was in line an hour before the doors opened to ensure I got good seating in the mezzanine. I loved this concert and I love Blind Pilot. I hope they are in town again soon and I hope they don't take as long to put out their fourth album.

Blind Pilot , Quiet Lives offer incredible energy

by JessCass on 10/5/16Deluxe at Old National Centre - Indianapolis

This was easily one of the best shows I've attended in the last year. Both Blind Pilot and their opener [Quiet Lives] offered a level of vulnerability and honesty rarely achieved. I was engaged the entire time, and it seemed the whole audience was on the same level - what a joy! The sound mix was excellent.

    Great Live Performance

by chodges22 on 10/4/16Deluxe at Old National Centre - Indianapolis

I have loved Blind Pilot for a while and was super excited they were going to be playing near me! My fellow concert-goers were not very pleasant company but that did not affect how much I enjoyed Blind Pilot! They sound exactly the same live and I was pretty surprised by that but also pretty glad. Overall would recommend!

    Blind Pilot was absolutely phenomenal!!

by curbann on 10/4/16Deluxe at Old National Centre - Indianapolis

We drove from Cincinnati to see the show at the Old National Centre in Indianapolis. What a show!!! It was so intimate and they sound just like they do in the studio! The venue was awesome! I could not stop smiling the entire concert!! This music moves my soul to the core. Thank you for creating the wonderful music that you do :) The new album is fantastic and the old stuff was just as incredible :) We met the band after the show to boot! Love the energy that this band creates for their audience! We tried to send Graeter's ice cream to the venue in Louisville, but couldn't find a driver to deliver the pints. Next time you are in Cincinnati - we will hook you up :) Thank you again for being the best and coolest band in the Universe!!

    First is the Best

by Camasma on 9/19/16Royale Boston - Boston

Blind Pilot's show was the first concert I had ever been to, and I'm so glad I chose them! I love every song they've ever released and they played as many songs as possible in the time given (14 songs in an hour I think). Live sounded even better than the studio recording! You can tell these guys wanted to deliver a memorable performance for their fans...and that's exactly what they did! I had goose bumps the entire time due to the fact that it was freezing inside the Royale, but I still couldn't stop smiling!

    SHOW STEALER!

by Anonymous on 3/31/16Beacon Theater - New York

I saw them on the Vance Joy concert and honestly they stole the show for me. The lead singer sang from his soul and the fact that they all play multiple instruments made them even more awesome to me. After they opened I ended up wanting to go see them some more. I ended up leaving early during the Vance Joy portion but will definitely want to see them play live again.

Great event - the opening band was a lot of fun and sounded great. Blind Pilot was everything I hoped they would be and then some. Their talent is UNREAL and I loved every second of it.

    20th Century Theater Cincinnati Show

by PJinCinci on 7/18/1220th Century Theater - Cincinnati

Wendesday gave way to major afternoon storms in the Queen City with plenty of thunder and lightning. A well needed change of pace from the heat wave drought ridden summer that so far has beaten down on the Midwest over the past few weeks. As a result of these unexpected storms, my power went out. Sitting at home in a dark, hot house I quickly decided to head out to the local bar and decide what I should do for the evening just in case the power isn't restored in the next couple hours. So here comes The Blind Pilots. For a mear $15 I can go see a live show; have an ice cold beer and get out of my powerless home. Now I want to preface this review by saying that I am 46 years old and from what I saw I definately am able to be a parent to most all the attendees of the show. I would say there was quite easily a good 800 to 900 people in the audience. The 20th century has a front standing room area up by the stage then it has an area with tables towards the rear. All were full with collegiate (or maybe even high school) kids. The band sounded great, They definately have a huge following for a reason. All six members were in unison with each other jamming away to their tunes. Here is my perplexity to the whole evening. The lighting was just plain horrible! So wait -- lets get this straight. I'm bitching about the lighting huh. Who the hell cares! Well here is why you should care. This band is so damn talented. They can sing. They can play. They sound great when mixed through the sound board, But you can't see them well up there on stage. And from what I gather, that is how the band wants it. The key board player, drummer and xylophone players are pretty much in the dark. Hell - you might as well put them outside in the parking lot and just plug them into the sound board. What this band needs is some one to design for them a stage. Raise up your drummer on a stand. Put appropriate lighting on ALL SIX members. (look- I get that maybe the band wishes to be back lighted. I talked to the lighting guy who told me this. But maybe they would like some front lighting it it was readily available). Program a nice lighting show that goes along with each songs. I guarentee that the audience of 800 would then not stand there like zombies but be more into the show. So here is a potentially big hit wonder band ready for the prime time. They have just about everything needed to go far. Cept they lack a nice light show. I do hope some one close to the band pays attention to this review and runs with my advise. Next time I get to see The Blind Pilot I hope I dont have to be blind but can actually see them up there on the stage

    Blind Pilot

by Anonymous on 7/12/12The Fonda Theatre - Hollywood

Great band that will definitely be playing only huge venues in the next few years. Talented lead singer and drummer are now joined with 4 new additions to the group. The use of many unusual instruments make for a full and vibrant sound. No cookie cutter music here. Authentic American talent.

    Blind Pilot was awesome!

by EGeorge on 7/9/12The Fonda Theatre - Hollywood

I didn't think they could sound better than their CD, but they did. Not a fan of one of their opening acts, Laura Gibson, but blind pilot more than made up for it. We will definitely see them again.

    Amaaaaazing!

by Skullcow on 7/9/12The Fonda Theatre - Hollywood

Holiday Friends, Laura Gibson and Blind Pilot each put on an incredible show. I haven't seen better bands open, and I'd definitely go to the next Blind Pilot show. Surprisingly, they sound even better live.
