About

Rock N Roll is fun, or at least that's the idea. That they are able to get back to that core concept is one of the great joys of Black Veil Brides, and one that fans latched onto as the Andy Biersack lead Hollywood quintet emerged as D.I.Y. phenomenon in 2009. Yes, the Brides Ð who along with Biersack includes Ash Purdy, Jinxx, Jake Pitts, and Christian Coma-- have a look that is a Goth take on the over-the-top glam of late '70's Kiss and mid '80's Sunset Strip, but their message is far from ironic. From their debut with 2010's We Stich Wounds to 2013's sprawling concept album The Wretched and Divine: The Story of the Wild Ones, the band has always shown a deep emotionalism to go along the riff-heavy, fist pounding excitement.

And then there are those concerts: ticket buyers can expect nothing less than complete commitment from the Brides. Indeed, Biersack famously broke three ribs on stage and at another tour date, then smashed his nose falling off a drum riser at another. Of course neither injury even slowed him, much less stopped the show. It that kind of damn-it-all resolve that got Biersack named Revolver's Greatest Living Rock Star in 2012, and one of the many qualities that make the Black Veil Brides a band able to restore you faith in rock, in all it's fun, fury and fire.

Great show! The only way it could've been better is if it was longer. The venue was great, made the experience seem very personal.

  • Great show

by Deedee31293 on 12/12/10Area 702 Indoor Skatepark - North Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

I have been to numerous concerts and this was one of my favorites. It was weird since it was such a small stage compared to the ones at the joint and house of blues but it was still AMAZING. I also got to talk to the band and get signatures. My friend, my brother and I had a great time and cant wait till they come back

  • I will never forget it!

The concert was amazing! I will never forget it! I met them and they were so kind.

  • Black Veil Brides = AMAZING!

The show was absolutely unforgettable. They were one of my favorite live acts and I can't wait to go see them again.(: We were close enough to touch them and I love how interactive they were with the crowd. I could tell the guys had chemistry on stage and that overall made for a great show. They love what they do and so do I. They've inspired me to do what I love no matter what other people think. I love being part of the BVB army. <3

  • Great except for the headliner.....

    by CrazyChris576 on 12/4/10Harpos - DetroitRating: 4 out of 5

This whole event was wonderful until the headlining band came onstage. The local openers were strong. Aural Vampire was fun and unique. Dommin was absolutely incredible. The Birthday Massacre was tremendous. But Black Veil Brides was just terrible. Their music is generic, and they are just awful people in general. I recommend every band that played except them.

  • Not What I Expected

by Loligo on 12/3/10Harpos - DetroitRating: 3 out of 5

I got tickets for this show because I am a fan of one of the supporting bands. I had never seen The Black Veil Brides, nor had I ever heard their music. In preparation, I bought their newest CD. I really loved it! I was very excited to see them perform. When they came out on stage, I wasn't quite sure what to make of them. Kind of like Motley Crue meets KISS. But hey, don't judge a book by it's cover. Then they started to play. I was appalled. The lead singer shouted obscenities at the audience, threw things at them, dragged them up onto the stage (which is roughly 7 feet off the floor, so it looked very painful), and kept telling the fans to f**k off. This was especially distasteful to me because the average age of their fans is 12 years old. This is no joke. I was absolutely disgusted. The lead singer kept throwing himself on the floor and rolling around. And he spent more time passing his microphone off to random fans and letting them scream rather than actually singing the songs himself. I have never seen such a disrespectful and offensive display of stupidity. And I cut my teeth on bands like Black Flag and Social Distortion. This band was such a disappointment. I hope these boys grow up and stop assaulting their fans. Even Axl Rose chilled out. All in all, the other bands were very good, but I will never see The Black Veil Brides ever again, nor will I ever spend a thin red cent to support them. Were it not for The Black Veil Brides, I would have given this event a 5 star rating. I drove 7 hours to be at this show. I would not recommend The Black Veil Brides to a friend, but all the other bands were quite good. I would recommend the other bands to friends.

  • Black Veil Brides were incredibly amazing!!!

    by Sparky18 on 11/28/10Harpos - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

The show was amazing, my boyfriend and i got right up in front and andy six fell in the crowd and landed on me, but it was awsome!!! andy is an amazing musician and he loves all his fans, like there was a hater in the back dissing on them and he stuck up for the bvb army and yelled at the guy. i loved the show it was so exciting and so much fun! i've seen them 3 times and everytime is the best time of my life! i could never dislike any of there shows because all of them are always fun and amazing. The band is really great too they are always so nice to their fans and stick up for us. they arent like most band that only want fame, they actually want to help us and care about us. black veil brides are my inspiration. i love them<3

  • We love Black Veil Brides! <3

It was amazing that we could get close enough to touch them. They were so interactive with the audience, and we love their overall sound. And getting their autographs was an unexpected miracle! =) we would have liked less of the other bands, and more of black veil brides, but it was still aaaamazing.

  • Not So Pleased

by SteffM on 11/28/10Harpos - DetroitRating: 1 out of 5

I purchased these tickets as a gift for a 16th birthday, and was very disappointed. The headliner played on 4 songs and appeared to be under the influence of something. The birthday recipient has been to a BVB before in Cleveland and it was great, so not sure what the issue was. So after a not so great show, the evening got much worse! The 1997 Jeep that was parked in what was to be a secured lot was stolen and trashed. so... Would BVB be rcomended? Maybe If they were in Detroit? NO

  • Black Veil Brides are Amazingly Amazing!

    by shellyn70 on 11/28/10Harpos - DetroitRating: 4 out of 5

First time at Harpos for us - we enjoyed how big & spacious the venue was. First band was "Aural Vampire" - some kind of techno music from Japan. Really weird. Second was "Dommin"...we really enjoyed this band - fun, upbeat rock-n-roll. Third band was "Birthday Massacre". They were all right, however, there seemed to be a "war" going on between that band & "Black Veil Brides." For "Black Veil Brides" being the headliner of this show, you wouldn't know it --- "Birthday Massacre" went on FAR too long with their set, which ended up costing "Black Veil Brides" their time to shine. Andy Six (lead singer) came out on stage angry & full of piss & vinegar! They are SUCH a great bunch of guys...and to see them rushing through their set was a shame. At the end of the night they were even rushed through the meet & greet. We were very disappointed in the rules --- no photos, no hugs, no questions -- for the band?!?! I would definately recommend seeing "Black Veil Brides" - they put on a great show, sound good & they are extremely NICE guys. However, this didn't seem to be the tour for them to be on.

  • Went to see Dommin

    by Flooe7 on 11/15/10The Masquerade - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5

I have NO clue why Dommin arent headlining this show... they should be. they were awesome, as always. The Black Veil Brides were great as well, my first time seeing them myself, and I would see them again. Aural Vampire, it would be ok for a rave, but didnt fit this lineup. Have no clue about the birthday massacre as I left early.

  • Awesome!

Birthday Massacre and Dommin were amazing! Five stars to them! Aural Vampire and Black Veil Brides? Entertaining. Worth it to see the other two, definitely!
