BJM in Dance Me - Alberta Ballet Tickets

The dancing was fantastically athletic and fun to watch. The use of props and digital effects were interesting. I would cut the singing and the horrible man (an actor portraying Leonard Cohen) talking to woman portion. Very disappointing when my two favorite songs of his are sung in a meek voice and there’s no dancing at all. People are there to hear Cohens passionate and powerful voice. Other than that it was an impressive performance.

I love jazz ballet and the music of Leonard Cohen yet nothing prepared me for how spellbinding this performance was. The dancers were amazing and the choreography and lighting were exceptional. The experience was moving. Would have gone again if it was here longer.

We loved the dancing; however we were very disappointed that no one danced to "Hallelujah", the one song we most anticipated being performed. We bought tickets to see dancing, not singing.
