    Amazing Festival!

    by Anne Marie on 8/29/23

Although I was unable to attend all three festival events I heard from good friends the first two where wonderful! I was blessed to be able to attend the last night though and wow! What a great performance of “Break It Down” by Herb Newsome who broke down the early days of Hip Hop and what was happening at that time in the Bronx. This was also a celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Hip Hop! I hope they do this again next year. This was the 3rd I believe! Highly recommend!!!

    Fantastic

    by Sharon on 8/27/23

We went to the matinee of The Life you Gave Me. I had heard it was a reading and not an actual play so I didn’t expect to really enjoy it. I can now say that I was riveted during the entire performance. It was unlike anything I’d seen but not only captured my attention, but was thought provoking, witty, sad, wryly humorous and true to life!

Most substantial plays I’ve seen in Boise

by Scott on 8/7/22Morrison Center for the Performing Arts - Boise

I purchased the festival pass knowing I was going to be able to make it to at least two readings on Thursday and Friday. The caliber of playwrights and actors exceeded my expectations. I’ll definitely be attending again in the future. The Morrison Center staff was friendly and good seating was easy to access.
