Biohazard, formed in 1987 in Brooklyn, New York, pioneered the streetwise blend of hip-hop with hardcore that became mainstream when Anthrax collaborated with Public Enemy on 1991’s “Bring the Noise.” Biohazard’s lyrics, which dealt with the harsh reality of urban life, smoldered off the edges of songs like “Wrong Side of the Tracks” and “Punishment,” two standout tracks off their groundbreaking second album Urban Discipline (1992). After nine albums and over 5 million records sold, Biohazard would part ways in 2011. In November 2022, Biohazard announced the reunion of their original lineup of Billy Graziadei (vocals/guitar), Bobby Hambel (lead guitar) Evan Seinfeld (vocals/bass) and Danny Schuler (drums) for a 2023 fall tour with thrash-metal trailblazers Megadeth.
