Enjoyed the whole show, would go again. Great entertainer
Really Enjoyed the show, both acts were great and I would go see them again if they came back to Montgomery.
This concert was even more than I had expected. It was great and both performances were delightful. I would attend the same concert again and again.
Good show and good seats. This is a great venue. Great place to see show.
Gene Watson began the concert. He sang for over an hour. Really entertaining. Bill Anderson followed Gene Watson. He sang and talked to the audience for almost an hour also. Enjoy the older singers and love the music.
Excellent concert these two elderly gentlemen can still bring it , very enthusiastic crowd
My husband and I went to this concert and we had a wonderful time. Both entertainers were wonderful. Everything at the Performing Arts Centre went very well and everything was nice and clean. Will be back!! Loved it!!
Have never had that much fun at a concert, Mr. Anderson put on a awesome show! We enjoyed it so much and I will say if you haven't gone to his show, well you should! Well worth the money and a wonderfully joyful time to had by all!
Bill Anderson was charming on stage and sang many of his well-known hits. I was very disappointed, however, that he did not sing many of his "love" songs. I was really hoping to hear Whispering Bill do "Double S" or "I Can't Wait Any Longer," but his focus was not there. He did do "Still," which was lovely. We were shocked that the venue was barely half filled. Many people missed a great show!
This was an early Mother's Day gift for my Mom (who is a huge Bill Anderson fan) and we thoroughly enjoyed this. Even though we were in the back row we had great seats.
Really enjoyable evening of songs, stories and background about 3 important country music song writers. plus a new guy with a great voice.
This was an incredible evening! Bill Anderson, Mac Davis, Pam Tillis and Mo Pitney were all on stage and took turns talking about how each of them write a song. They told personal stories and played some of the hits the had written. Bill Anderson sang a beautiful song about a WWII veteran visiting the WWII memorial with his Army hat on and I'm sure I'm not the only one in the house who shed a tear. Mac Davis talked about writing "Memories" for Elvis Presley and only had 48 hours to do it. Pam Tillis shared her first Grand Ole Opry experience, which happened at the age of 8, and Mo Pitney is a young man who I hope we will hear a lot of on country radio - he had a beautiful, deep, rich voice. He writes real country, not the "bro" country stuff that is on the radio now. A lot of history on the stage. It was a very personal night - felt like we were sitting in a living room just talking about music, or as Bill Anderson put it - like having a guitar pull in Nashville. Thanks Library of Congress!
Great songwriters + great guitar music = great evening of entertainment. I will never forget "Memories" and "In The Getto" actually brought a tear that I had to wipe away quickly before anyone could see it. Thanks to all of the songwriters that bring truth into our lives through music.
It was awesome to hear songs played by the songwriters who wrote them. Mo Pitney's singing was great.
What an incredible impromptu fun evening, completely unrehearsed and beautifully orchestrated by 4 of the very best in country music. Thank you to the Library of Congress & to The CMA and to the performers for all of the talent. I hope more similar country programs will be scheduled at the Library - what a magnificent venue!!
A beautiful evening. The RFD Theater is just so nice and the Bill Anderson show was fantastic. Wish we would have attended both nights. Thank you.
Bill is so personable and enjoys singing to the public. And the public loves it.
What a great show. Bill Anderson showed why he is in the Country Music Hall of Fame and a 50 year member of the Grand Ol Opry. It is incredible how many hit songs he has written and how many careers he has launched and supported. Couldn't have been in a better venue. Awesome is the only description
What a gentleman. What a performer. What an enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours with a living legend
Took my husband to see Bill Andreson for his 70th B-day, he loved it and so did I. It was an amazing show Bill put on. I didn't know he could be so funny also. We loved every minute of his show. We would like to attend the Family Reunion Show some time when they have it in Branson. We watch it every Sat. on TV. Thank you Bill for the GREAT SHOW!!
