It was basically a highschool dance with people dressed like SpongeBob characters. Very little actual SpongeBob music played, and like others mentioned, totally over sold, way too many people there. It was advertised as a SpongeBob rave, but we’re left with a generic rave with basic DJs playing dubstep with poorly animated SpongeBob characters looping every 3 minutes on tv screens.
Drinks were super expensive but the DJ, costumes, and people were fantastic! Really great experience, I'll definitely be going again
I wish they would have played more of the SpongeBob jams and for the couple that did play they didn't play very much of it. The main song everyone was waiting for the JellyFish Jam only got played for about a minute or less then was switched. The one dolphin song didn't get played. Some hits were definitely missed. They also mixed some of they're Shrek rave content in there. And the Drinks were way to expensive.
First off, I feel like this event was super over-sold. There was 0 room to actually dance because of how overcrowded it was. The music & graphics displayed were ok, but I feel like they could have stuck more to the theme. Drinks were way overpriced as well, but that's to be expected.
It was cool to see everyone’s outfit and there were fun drinks, but the music was very EDM. Very few songs we actually knew and few SpongeBob songs.
I personally had a lot of fun! Having the chairs up top was a really nice way to spend the night there(and cup holders!) nice to be able to sit comfortably for a bit! Drinks were CRAZY expensive but they were good. I’ve never been to the house of blues before this and I’d go back in a heartbeat! I plan on going to the Shrek rave in May hopefully that’s just as good! ❤️🔥
Amazing night , crowd was literally insane and the music was perfect the whole night. Only complaint is that the drinks were nearly $20 for drinks that were normal sized. Glad I drank before going but $20 is insane , really grinds my sea urchins
I drove from michigan to ohio to visit the house of blues during their tour. The music was amazing spongebob quotes and songs thrown into the music. Higly recomend. I wish i could figure out what artist where playing i do know one of them because they where big in the early 2000 but i wanna k ow who the other artist where
The second dj came out hard playing some straight bangers but i swear the first dj was playing some mid and was repeating songs. This dude also tried to initiate a mosh but the crowd wasn’t really feeling it. 👽
The event was fun but wish they would say what u can and cant bring on the site and have a better playlist/DJ 1st set was amazing the 2nd 1 made us leave early
