The Big Ten Championship game was a wonderful event. My family are big Ohio State fans. While we were not happy with the end result of the game, the experience was fun for everyone. Indianapolis did a great job of setting up the town for the event and the activities established by the Big Ten Conference were entertaining and fun. We will definitely go back whenever Ohio State is playing.
The fact that I was able to get more than 2 tickets was awesome. I was able to take my grandson ans son-in-law with me. I had hoped for a better outcome, but it was not to be. The people around us were great.
My sons enjoyed the entire weekend...the game and the fanfest were the best. Go State!!!
Indianapolis knows how to host an event! And Lucas Oil Stadium is the best football venue in the country, without a doubt. The adjacent Convention Center makes the Fan Fest a terrific spot to enjoy the excitement before the game.
Being a buckeye fan, the game didn't go as well as I would have liked. Hats off to the Spartans -- they deserved the win. My complaint is with the TV involvement ---- I have been to a lot of ball games and never seen so many time outs and most were much longer than normal. takes the fun out of going to the games when you stand around waiting for the TV programmers to tell you it's ok to resume play. Will stay home next time and save the cost of these expensive tickets.
Lucas Oil is an outstanding place for the B1G Championship and college basketball. I've been there 3 times now. The stadium is great and even better is the beautiful downtown. So much to do within walking distance and easy, affordable parking. Love it there.
Downtown area is packed with restaurants and shopping as well as the B1G Fan Experience. No need to be a fan of the teams playing, but the weekend brings the atmosphere and experience to rival any game day experience on campus.
A great venue for a football game - never a bad seat.
The Big 10 Championship Game was a lot of fun and Lucas Oil Stadium is the perfect place to host this event. The stadium is clean and beautiful and getting in and out was very, very easy. I will be back in the future if my Buckeyes are playing there again.
The stadium was great and the crowd was into the game the whole time. Indianapolis puts on a great show and was very accommodating the whole time.
Entry and security procedures at this stadium are a joke. Entrances for a crowd are not clearly defined at all. It was just one large massive group of people and you didn't know the process until you were on top of security. They were wanding everybody with no instruction, and then barking at people to back up, turn around, take off your hat, etc. we got there a half hour after gates and waited over 30 minutes to enter. Ohio Stadium hosts over 100k and I've never seen anything like this there. I have no plans to return to this venue.
This game was great and we had a great view to the action. The stadium was nice and warm even though the temperatures outside were not and everything at the event itself went great.
It's true that I'm a Spartan fan...but even if I wasn't, I'd still say the game was epic. (My husband is a Buckeye...we live in a house divided...and still we both loved it). Awesome venue! Great view, even in the upper bowl! Without a doubt would go again!!
The BIG Ten championship game was a great experience if you take out the OSU lost. The atmosphere was awsome, the stadium was awesome, and I did not have any problem getting into park or leaving. Everything that the BIG Ten sponsored was spot on. I would go again and maybe get the win next time. GO BUCKS!!!!!
Lucas Stadium was wonderful, and warm! Too bad Ohio State lost though! Go Bucs!
Lousy game...but great, great facility. Elevators, escalators, clean restrooms, helpful staff, especially with wheelhair assistance. Seemed like staff actually was there to help. And we got upgraded seats.
Big Ten Football is great football...most teams very equal this year and that made for some exciting finishes. Championship game was in a great venue and the outcome defied expectations. Though I'm a Spartan fan I still went to the game to support Big Ten Football. Go Green!
