Big Smo, a.k.a. John Lee Smith, was born in San Diego but lives on his family farm in Unionville, TN. He began making music in 1999, and in 2002 he released his debut album Kuntry Kitchen. He continued to hone his unique fusion of rap, rock, and country with The Audio Biography in 2003 and Monument Society in 2004, and his high-octane performances in support of the albums earned him a significant regional following. After releasing two more albums in the late '00s, Smo made his major label debut with 2014's Kuntry Livin'. The album was a critical and commercial success, landing at No. 3 on the rap chart and establishing him as one of country rap's biggest rising stars. Since then Smo has starred in an eponymous reality TV show on A&E that gives viewers an inside look at his life and music. An animated and authentic performer, Big Smo continues to entertain ticket buyers with his rural rap jams every time he hits the road on tour.

Big Smo is someone I've been following for some time now . I've always wanted to see him in person but was always out of my city/state. When I seen where he was playing I made sure I was there this time. Big smos concert was freaking awesome from Haden Carpenter to Big Smo himself. It was everything I could have imagined. I would recommend everyone going to see him when the chance arises....

Hayden Carpenter revved the crowd up with his set, bringing in nothing but energy and great vibes. Big Smo took the stage and the energy just kept going, No one noticed it was midnight, and even with the pushing and shoving to get close to the stage, it was awesome. Down home feel with a whole lot of bass from beginning to end.
Big Smo was amazingly dynamic and energetic live!! He had amazing ability to involve everyone in the venue. I don't think there was anybody that wasn't dancing! Haden Carpenter as an opening act was great too! Would definitely go to another show! Great time!!
The Overall Show Was Awesome... Big Smo Rocked The Crowd. The Attendance Was A Little Less Then Expected To Bad For The Entertainer. But Hope To See Big Smo In Toledo Ohio Again
GREAT show - exceeded my expectations. The crowd was smaller than I expected, but the energy level was high! Really good sound, professional show, and great music. Highly recommend checking him out - I will go again and bring some non-believers with me! WELL DONE, SMO!!!

This is the second Smo show I have been too and once again...an amazing show!! I traveled out of state just to see him perform again and I'm so glad I did!!
Had a great time!!! I think the sound system could of Been better, it was SO loud and could hardly understand him singing.
