About

Detroit rapper Big Sean has two full-length albums in his hop-hop arsenal, and each one features a slew of big-ticket acts. His major label debut, 2011’s “Finally Famous,” includes the hit single “My Last,” with Chris Brown, while the second single, “Marvin & Chardonnay” features Kanye West and Roscoe Dash. Lupe Fiasco, John Legend, Wiz Khalifa, Chiddy Bang and The-Dream are also on the list of collaborators, not to mention producers like The Neptunes and No I.D.

For his 2013 sophomore set entitled “Hall of Fame,” Big Sean - born Sean Michael Anderson — continued working with No I.D., releasing a more conceptually-driven album. Guest appearances by Nas, Lil Wayne, Kid Cudi, Common, 2 Chainz, Miguel and Young Jeezy frequent the 15-track set, which debuted at No. 3 on The Billboard 200.

Big Sean has trekked across the U.S. on the “I Am Finally Famous” tour, as well as conquered European concerts following his sophomore release. His hip-hop discography also covers four mixtapes, the most recent of which (“Detroit”) won Best Mixtape at the 2013 BET Hip Hop Awards.

    It Was Amazing

    by Yungsimba37 on 4/18/11Cramton Auditorium - Washington

Big Sean killed it. The opening acts dragged on for too long though. It was a 2 hour wait but it was worth it.

    On time

    by chelseafc12 on 4/17/11Cramton Auditorium - Washington

Opening acts were decent and plentiful, but I did not pay to see the openers for two and half hours and Big Sean for forty-five minuets. Is it really that difficult to get to your concert on time? However, when he actually came on stage and preformed it was awesome. He is a great artist and having Waka show up did not hurt.

BIg Sean was awesome! It took him awhile to get on stage but it was well worth it. The artist that performed before him were talented. I would attend his show again if its in a nearby location.

The event itself was extremely unorganized. We were in the front of the line and they originally told us doors at 8, then doors at 8:30, then doors at 9.. We ended up getting inside at 10pm. Luckily, we were in the front row so i was extremely excited for the show. For two whooooole hours there were nothing but awful opening acts that I did not care about, truthfully. The headliner Big Sean did not even come on until past midnight, but when he finally did, all the previous stuff became totally worth it. Wouldn't trade the night for anything.

    Show was too dope.

by KimKardashian on 1/10/11El Rey Theatre - Los Angeles

Big Sean and the whole show was dope. Back to back surprise guests! Chris Brown, Wiz Khalifa, Warren G, Tyga, JRoc, Teyana Taylor, Kendrick Lamar, etc. Totally digged how most surprise guest performed even when the song had nothing to do with Big Sean. way tooo dope. Venue was cooo. Wait was long but worth the show.

    Big ups to Big Sean

by YoungCor on 1/9/11El Rey Theatre - Los Angeles

So, I've been a Big Sean fan for a bit, so when I saw that he was going to be @ the El Rey in LA i had to get tickets! First off the line was all the way around the block, but big ups to BET =) we were the first ones in! Honestly I feel that there was way too many opening acts that I really went to sleep... and i didn't wake up until Big Sean came out! once he did I was up on my feet on my chairs going bananas! One thing that was annoying was the losers with their flashlight telling us to get off the chairs. Like i mean COME ON its standing room only! what do you expect?!?!? but other than that the show was amazing! Big Sean was amazing! I recommend every hip hop lover to see his show!!!

    Quiet Speakers

    by drjj1 on 8/31/10Braden Auditorium - Normal

The speakers were so quiet that i couldn't feel the bass at all in the second balcony, let alone the third. He also talked too much in between songs so that kind of lost the vibe for me. He's my favorite rapper but he kind of lost some respect from me with that performance, given the speakers weren't his fault.

Worst concert I've ever been to!!!

    by Zeus10987 on 8/30/10Braden Auditorium - Normal

Horrible music. Couldn't understand a word anyone said. there was an hour wait from dj unk to big Sean. I left early because it was so bad. Napalm was good though. The warm up band.. Blitz was one of the worst rap groups I have ever heard. The whole concert was a joke

    Say She Never Been!!!

    by ISU27 on 8/28/10Braden Auditorium - Normal

Every artist last night at this show killed it. Wasn't expecting much from Napalm and Dj Unk but they were great openers. Wasn't a fan of Big Sean till after the concert last night. He's legit now and Wiz was hands down as good as any other rap artist i've seen up till now. If you get a chance to see any of these two go!
