Great race but way to many wrecks!!! Me and the boys had a blast and i hope the race continues next year. I hope they widen the turns a bit but overall I loved the city race.
The Music City Grand Prix is a Nashville event with all of the events that typically accompany a race of this caliber but with the added benefit of great concerts and being in downtown Nashville which is a tremendous bonus. My only critique is better signage in helping you find your seat.
Very fan friendly. Really appreciate everything that was offered. The cooling towels that were given away at the foot bridge were the boomb.
The Indy Car Series is good but if you really enjoy good racing, be certain to stay put for the truck races next year at the end of the event. These drivers were wildly entertaining and watching grown men battle it out with two drivers who were 13 and 14 years old was mind blowing. These kids put on a great show for the fans!
I was disappointed in the reduction of good viewing locations due to the increase in “temporary suites” particularly at the end of the bridge straight AND it seems the interior fence was further from the track. Make this race spectator awesome!!
Blocked off to much of the pits for fans unless you payed extraordinary money to meet with drivers and put crews Took the personal connection away Too expensive for normal people to enjoy. 12 dollar burger and 8 bucks for French fries. Won't go next year.
The event itself was well organized, getting in and out was easy. We used the shuttles a few times and they seemed to work well - it was just too bad the weather did not collaborate.
The Nashville Grand Prix race was very well organized. Incredibly well thought out plans and execution of plans. Numerous break areas, hundreds of vendors, speakers and monitors everywhere they needed to be. Everything was top notch!!
Love the venue & the track. We sat in turn 9, and the only amenity in that area is port-a-potties. Would like to see drink vendors at the very least. Most all hand sanitizer was empty on Sunday. That is only 2 complaints.
It was better than I expected! The speed was spectacular, food was great and had a blast!
Great event. Racing was good. Even with the thunderstorm and delay still had fun. Move the trucks back to race before the indy cars only suggestion.
It took asking several staff where to go for the concert and then I was told to stay where the general admission ticketers were which I purchased a gold. I finally got directed in the right place. The staff and security just didn’t seem to know what they should have. The concert started late because of the weather? It had been intermittently storming during the day but it had cleared. The moon was out. Tim and his band put on a fantastic concert but again was cut short because of threat of weather. I understand the liability issues but Tim would have kept performing. The weather was fine. They shot fireworks afterwards but the staff was trying to get everyone to leave. Again, the weather was fine. I’ve been to enough of these concerts where the staff are the ones wanting you to leave. They’re not the ones who drove and paid for the shows. If they don’t want to work, then maybe they should get other jobs. They’re getting the privilege of seeing these artists for free. I’m sorry if they were tired from being there long hours but that’s not the audience members fault. On one hand I understand but Tim’s truck was right there. Everyone would’ve been fine. I don’t know what weather info they were getting but they can also use common sense. There were so many people there. There is nothing they could’ve done to allow people to take shelter or evacuate in an orderly fashion. Maybe they should have had the concert at Bridgestone instead.
Saturday after I bought my ticket online. When we got to gate no one there everyone walking in free. I should not have bought ticket
I have been to a lot of venues and have the good fortune to be able to afford the costs of VIP tickets many times. This venue was by far the worst I have ever been to. The "Golden Circle" was advertised as a 300 person limit. By the time you added guests and backstagers, there were over 500. Only 2 bathrooms for each biological sex, only 2 lines for beverages, had to show my ID evertime I bought alcohol. It would have cost them 9.95 to issue alcohol wrist bands, 200 for 2 more bartenders and maybe 200 for 4 more portajohns. Although cut short by weather, Tim McGraw was as awesome as ever.
3 days of non stop racing and action from sun up till after sun down!! I stuck around for one of the concerts too and it was phenomenal. As a veteran they practically rolled out the red carpet for me and my family and that is something I greatly appreciate! I will absolutely come back next year and every year after that!
It would be nice if the grandstands were shaded. Also if the grandstands weren't turned so as to obscure as much track as possible it would have been better.
Couldn’t see anything without being in a seat. Frustrating to be forced to sit with “full access” tickets in order to see any of the race or qualifying.
Great exciting races. The vendors and staff very friendly. The only aspect that could have been better would have been the weather. Nice to have the races rescheduled later in the year for cooler temperatures.
Had a blast. Tons of stuff to do / watch throughout the day. Lots of great racing. Only downside is it’s toasty out this time of year.
Wasn’t to happy to pay $600 dollars only to get to see half a show they said cause of lightning that went away in 15 mins but canceled the show because of it
