Big K.R.I.T. on Tour
Southern Rap is not dead, and Big K.R.I.T. is here to prove it with his Digital Roses Tour with special guests ELHAE and PRICE, making 32 stops across 24 states in the U.S. This tour comes off the release of two major projects in 2022 for K.R.I.T.: Digital Roses Don't Die, a solo project that comprises 17 songs including the single "So Cool," and the joint-venture with Wiz Khalifa and Girl Talk titled Full Court Press. Known best for his tight delivery and down-south themes, concertgoers describe K.R.I.T.'s stage presence "like no other. . . that never disappoints," and promises to deliver a "top shelf performance (with) good vibes and great fans." His style is influenced by Southern rap legends like UGK, Smoke DZA, OutKast, Three 6 Mafia, and Ludacris, but K.R.I.T. has spent years carving out his own influential and impactful space. His breakthrough came in 2010 with his single "Country S***." The song was remixed by Ludacris and Bun B a year later and sent waves through the hip-hop community. In 2011, Big K.R.I.T. was named one of 11 rappers to XXL magazine's Freshman Class. In perhaps the most loaded year since the magazine started naming their freshman class with a list that included Kendrick Lamar, Meek Mill, Mac Miller, YG, and Lil B, K.R.I.T. separated himself from the pack with his freestyle cypher. A year later, K.R.I.T. was one of a half dozen rappers to feature on A$AP Rocky's "1 Train" (other features included Kendrick Lamar, Joey Bada$$, Yelawolf, Danny Brown, and Action Bronson) from the album Long. Live. ASAP. Despite a saturated track, K.R.I.T. distinguished himself yet again with tight delivery and precise rhymes that lended to his rise. Since 2012, K.R.I.T. has fed his fans with a steady stream of projects, releasing nine albums in 10 years.
Big K.R.I.T. Live in Concert
Born Justin Scott in Meridian, Mississippi, Big K.R.I.T. will tell you himself you can hear the Southern influence in his music. K.R.I.T. learned music at an early age, even playing the cello in his younger years. He was rhyming and producing for years before he got his first big break in 2010. With the success of the single "Country S***," he signed with Def Jam and released his first album K.R.I.T. Wuz Here with features from Curren$y, Wiz Khalifa and Smoke DZA, among others. A year later, his album Return of 4Eva was praised by Rolling Stone and Spin magazines as one of the best projects of the year. However, K.R.I.T. did not establish himself in the mainstream until 2012 with his feature on "1 Train" and the release of his project Live from the Underground, which debuted on the Billboard 200 at No. 5. His style was more reflective and refined on the substantive release Cadillactica (another Top 10 hit), which released in 2014. Shortly after, K.R.I.T. departed from Def Jam records and founded his own independent label, Multi Alumni, on which he's been releasing projects ever since. Since then, he has been producing a steady output of project releases and lyrical and production features for Rick Ross, A$AP Ferg, Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne, and J. Cole.

BIG K.R.I.T. always puts on a great show but I felt like this show could've gone a little longer given that Rhapsody didn't perform and K.R.I.T.'s extensive catalog. I just felt like we should've gotten more is all.
One concert My Husband and I will ALWAYS Remember BIG KRIT DID A GREAT SHOW!!
So K.R.I.T is my favorite artist and the concert was awesome and amazing. Everything was top notch and on point. From the lights, setting, stage, etc., the artists did terrific. I drove 3 and a half hours to the concert and it was worth every penny.
Performance was short and he skipped songs. Opening acts werent good either.
KRIT gave all his energy to the show! Dude been putting in work and his following shows! No problems in the audience and a dynamic show... can’t ask for much more!
I’ve seen Krit before so I know he always puts on a good show. But this venue was either too small for his sound volume or the stage above throws off sound for the floor. I never could understand a word he was saying between songs. Lyrically I could hardly hear him either and that was everyone around us complaint as well. And we weren’t even that far away so it was frustrating. Other than that another good set from Krit.
It’s always disappointing when you go to see an artist and that artist doesn’t show up.
Krit was of course undeniable and amazing!!!! My only complaint is that with all that standing room, more screens would have been nice so that those in the back could see without having to block someone else’s view.
I've attended KRIT shows since 2012. He never disappoints. I wish I could have seen Rhapsody but shit happens. KRIT is one of the best rappers out there but he also gives you a show. He has that magic and knows how to entertain, make you laugh, and make you go crazy.
I love live shows but there are certain venues that can impact the overall evening even if the artist is great. The Roxy is set up nicely but the sound is shotty and the seating is just ok. KRIT's performance and presence was phenomenal but the venue just could have better sound.
From the food to the drink and everything in between, the Krit show was incredible. He torn it down! Mixing the old with the new. Staff was super professional and happy to assist. The vip left a little to be desires in terms of amenities, but the bartender took great care of me all night. All in all, I will be returning.
Having never been to the Coca-Cola Roxy I didn’t know what to expect. But I was not disappointed. Beautiful and fairly spacious venue. Great acoustics for what was a great night!
The concert was an awesome experience. All Artists showed massive amounts of love to the fans. They performed phenomenal and also with great energy. After the concert they gave much opportunity for the audience to feel more energy by coming down to take pictures and greet the fans. The concert was amazing.
The whole concert went hard. From start to finish.
I have listened to Big KRIT for almost 10 years and I love his music. I have never had an opportunity to see him live until recently. He put on a great show with lots of energy and a good mix of new and old songs. However, his set only last 1 hour which was disappointing. We waited around for an encore and after 5 minutes the lights came on and most of the crowd had already left. Still a great performance, just wish it was longer.
#MultiTilTheSunDie Do yourself a favor and be sure not to miss and more shiws when K.R.I.T. is in your city...
Awesome show, stage, crowd interaction. Nothing about this show was disappointing!
Do yourself a favor and attend his show! The music is already on another level, but his high energy stage presence mixed with the love he shows fans is unmatched.
This is my 3rd time seeing Krit and his shows and opening acts are always dope. I’ll be waiting on the next show.
