BIG DADDY WEAVE IN CONCERT:
Christian rock outfit Big Daddy Weave possesses an uplifting sound that puts fans in high spirits during their thrilling performances. BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Based in Florida, Big Daddy Weave formed in 2002 when the quintet met at the Baptist school University of Mobile in Alabama. The band made their major label debut in 2002 with One and Only, putting themselves on the map as a hot new act within the contemporary Christian genre. Seven more successful albums followed including Fields of Grace (2003) and Love Come to Life (2012), which both earned Top 10 spots on the Billboard Christian chart. Additional accomplishments include a Dove Award-winning holiday record and a greatest hits collection that garnered major praise from fans and critics alike. Big Daddy Weave are also accomplished live performers, leaving ticket buyers in awe every time they take the stage.

by coan13 on 4/29/14Adler Theatre - DavenportTim Timmons put on a good opening act. His words sung through song with his guitar brought an exciting love for God. He was funny as well and we enjoyed his performance very much! Big Daddy Weave was awesome! Love their words of encouragement, their songs of inspiration and their ability to bring a group together to join in thanking God for all his good. I especially enjoyed the end when the manager, who is also their pastor, spoke beautiful words of God, inspiration, and uplifting encouragement. My son also enjoyed Group1Crew they put on an energetic show.

by Raggedy729 on 4/16/14Adler Theatre - DavenportI wasn't overly impressed. The venue, I have been to before. It wasn't crowded...for a Sunday I guess I expected more people. The first person out Tim Timmons...he was good I only knew one of his songs..he had humor and the songs were catchy. He did one song I knew. The 2nd act...was a little out of my league...a little more for the Gen X and that wasn't bad I was on my feet and open to there sound...until they started making fun of the "older crowd" not cute...but I let it slide. They did one song I knew. I thought ok...not too bad Then Big Daddy came out..the headline..did 1 song and talked about World Vision...then took a break....hmmm, not at all what I expected. 30 minutes or so later the show began...hmmm disappointed..yes.

Tim Timmons, the opening act was an inspiration to both of us. Big Daddy Weave wove comedy, his testimonial and amazing music together to create a totally engaging show.
