Amazing performance
by N. on 3/25/19Blue Ocean Music Hall - SalisburyI will start with the bad part... The concert was not promoted actively, so the number of attendees was very low (I think, below 100). The good part was that despite the low attendance, the band played their asses off. The singer - Sophia Ramos - was amazing! Beautiful and powerful voice, creating the experience one can only dream of. She sang with passion and I think that Janice Joplin would have been happy to hear it. Musicians were great as well. Base player and drummer are from the original band (79 years old), played great and brought us back to the great times of the 60's. Guitar and electric violin created a masterful duet, which was a real delight to listen to. Sadly, me and my wife were the youngest there (late 40's). Most of the crowd were old, happy hippies. Some (if not most) must have seen Big Brother play with Janice Joplin;) Excellent atmosphere. I highly recommend this show.
