About

Best Coast – comprised of Bethany Cosentino (vocals, guitar) and Bobb Bruno (guitar) – has released three critically and culturally acclaimed albums over the last decade while touring the globe, selling out headline shows, and opening for the likes of Green Day, Paramore, Pixies, Death Cab For Cutie, and more. Now they've returned with an incredible new song, entitled "For The First Time." Says Cosentino about the track, "It's about feeling comfortable in your own skin and looking at the skin you had to shed to get there and being OK with it all." It is the initial taste of the forthcoming Best Coast album, Always Tomorrow, which is due for release in 2020.

    Summer IS Forever

Great, great show. Three awesome bands with tons of energy and fantastic music. Also, totally gracious performers who seemed to love their fans and performing for them.

    Great concert

    by Mad49 on 2/23/16Royale Boston - Boston

Lots of crowd surfing. A lot of people fell down.. The security did a good job of keeping everyone safe. Wavves was awesome so was Best Coast. Overall an awesome concert with no major issues.

Best Coast and Wavves were perfect

by Gelika on 2/22/16Royale Boston - Boston

Two of my all time favorite bands and they put on a very good show. Wavves threw alien balloons into the audience and definitely got the crowd going, as the pit only formed during their set. Best Coast, who played before Wavves, were amazing as well. 10/10.

    Terrific show

    by knyc80 on 2/21/16Terminal 5 - New York

Was there to see Best Coast for the first time and was not disappointed. They sounded great, lighting was on point and song selection was perfect. The crowd was rowdy and appreciative. Terrific experience. It was a co-headlining tour and glad Best Coast chose this night to close. Wavves were alright. Not a fan.

    California Nights

by JARNYC on 2/21/16Terminal 5 - New York

What an awesome night. Terminal 5 was full and the evening built steadily from Cherry Glazerr to Wavves to Best Coast. Loved every minute of it and cannot wait to see Best Coast live again.

    Best Coast at the Paradise

by Kwheeler6398 on 6/15/15Paradise Rock Club - Boston

Openers Bully were strong and got the crowd going. Best Coast gave us what we paid for, but Beth seemed eager to get off stage! She sang really well though and thanked us for selling the place out. Can't really fault her I guess!

Solid mix from the DJ, although a bit mellowing; I'd rather he kept the energy steady. Lovely Bad Things had infectious and rousing energy that more than made up for an off performance the night before. Bleached just sort of played through its set, not building off of Lovely Bad Things' excitement, but also not bringing down the energy that was already there. Best Coast's front woman gave off angsty energy, making me think she felt like she'd rather be somewhere else besides on stage that night, like she was annoyed by her fans, not appreciative of them, regardless of what her words said.

Best Coast was the perfect ending to my summer!!

by Viviciaooo on 8/21/13El Rey Theatre - Los Angeles

Bethany sounds amazingggg live. I enjoyed Bleached more than The Lovely Bad Things though, they were still good. Not too hot indoors, waited outside for an hour and a half prior to door entry time. Nice venue, small, but it had a nice vibe.

Best Coast - a lot of fun!!

    by ThorDog1 on 6/10/13The National - Richmond

Best Coast - with a drummer & a bass/guitar player had a great sound. Beth's voice was strong and clear. The venue was clean. The other fans were decent as well. It was mostly a younger female audiance that seem to know the words to most of the songs and were singing along. Most of the "seating options" were actually standing. I don't think the balcony was open for but a select few. We enjoyed standing near the stage. Rock n roll is still around and Best Coast is a great example of a newer band that really can rock. Oh and the price of the tickets was decent.

The show was fun from start to finish. The openers (The Lovely Bad Things and Guards) matched Best Coast so well! It didn't feel like the bands were there to play their show and get out

    Best Coast was great

by diamondeyez on 10/14/12Coussoulis Arena - San Bernardino

ive been a fan of best coast for a few years so I thought this was a great time with their recent new album to come out and support. Starting the night was the band Chealse Wolfe, musically they have what it takes to flesh out into an awesome band, their set has a dream like state, haunting you while having big, dark melodies remenescent of joy division. although on stage they seemed as though they didnt even want to be there. beast coast is lively and took charge of the night with an effective balance of sound and performance. their lyrics are thoughtful regarding loneliness, weed and lack of the one they love fit perfectly with their slightly upbeat sound making for an interesting cocktail. awesome band!! also to note I fell in love with bethany, shes gorgeous

Best Coast Breezes Through Terminal 5

A great set: she's better suited for smaller venues but worked with what she was given.

    Best Coast Was Refreshing!

by GoldWatch on 8/4/12Fox Theater - Oakland

Best Coast, was such a delightful show to watch! Though I think the venue at the Fox Theater in Oakland may have been a tad too big for them. Needless to say, in a world flooded by synth hip hop, and overly promoted teen commercial acts. The Best Coast show and music, with the subject of their songs concentrating on teen love, crushes and bubble gum heartache are an amazing hark back to the garage pop rock bands of the mid 60s in CA.

Best Coast, Those Darlins, Way Yes

by ddrraakkee on 7/25/12Newport Music Hall - Columbus

each band kicked ass. very pleased and surprised by the opening acts. Those Darlins truely impressed me. Amazing. Best Coast came out after and rocked the house. Their encore was powerful.
