BENNY BENASSI IN CONCERT:
Ever since his rise to dance music notoriety with ubiquitous 2002 electro banger "Satisfaction," Italian DJ/producer Benny Benassi has been a busy man, rounding out his own floor-filling releases with productions for megastars like Chris Brown and Madonna. With the late-2013 release of "Back to the Pump," the lead single from his sixth studio album, Benassi delivered another signature slice of electro that's already become a staple at his electric live sets on tour. With the new album all set to drop, Benassi has fans eagerly awaiting the chance to catch him live at select appearances in 2014.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born in Milan, Benassi cut his teeth in the late '80s as an Italian club DJ. After working as a producer for various acts in the mid-'90s, he scored his first hit in 2001 with "I Feel So Fine," a No.1 hit on the UK club charts. A year later, "Satisfaction," the robot-voiced lead single from his debut LP Hypnotica, became a veritable international sensation, dominating dance floors and achieving crossover success on Top 40 charts around the world. Since then, Benassi has established himself as a tireless producer and remixer, working with a variety of artists including John Legend and Madonna. With a new album out in 2014, Benassi once again takes his adrenalin-filled live show on the road in support of the release.
