About

BENEE strikes a fragile chord between extremes. On one hand, she writes songs with open-hearted emotionality tailormade for lonely listening sessions on headphones at 3AM. On another hand, she serves up festival-ready anthems, teeming with childlike curiosity and otherworldly energy. The multi-platinum New Zealand-born and Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, and producer collages together glassy melodies, inventive instrumentation, enigmatic production, enticing storytelling, and larger-than-life visuals to build a living and breathing world of her own. Her music has revolved around this balance since she emerged in 2017. She arrived as a global phenomenon in the wake of her Double-Platinum smash "Supalonely" feat. Gus Dapperton. It set the stage for her 2020 full-length debut, Hey u x. The latter saw her collaborate with the likes of Grimes, Lily Allen, Flo Milli, Kenny Beats, Bakar, and Muroki. Earning critical acclaim, Interview Magazine christened her "one of Gen Z's leading rockstars," and DAZED dubbed her "a voice of the pandemic generation." She sold out headline shows on multiple continents and delivered stunning television performances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and Late Night with Seth Meyers. Beyond tallying streams in the billions, she garnered over a dozen Platinum and Gold Certifications around the globe. She notably teamed up with Mallrat for "Do It Again," which FIFA chose as the Official Song for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup 2023. On top of touring with the likes of Wallows and Olivia Rodrigo, she notably recently made her big screen debut in the indie film Head South. Now, BENEE welcomes everyone into the embrace of her world on a series of 2024 singles and more to come.

  • Amazing! Great human being.

by JM5 on 6/25/22The Depot - Salt Lake CityRating: 5 out of 5

We paid for the meet and greet tickets and it was so so worth it! Benee was so kind, down to earth, and just an all-around great kiwi! I wish I could see her every week. Great performer as well. She doesn’t take her self to seriously, but she definitely takes her craft seriously.Love her music so much.

Her performance deserves a 5 out of 5 undisputed. So amazing! Come back to Seattle again Benee!

  • An overall fantastic experience I'd relive over and over

    by Zplaysultimate on 6/19/22Saint Andrew's Hall - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

Benee is one of the best experiences I've had at a show for the longest time. I haven't enjoyed a show this much since Bryce Vine in February. The production quality was amazing. She was amazing. The crowd was amazing. For starters, she never once sang over her own vocals; a practice that is surprisingly quite uncommon. Her voice was, swear to God, the same as her studio voice. Pure and full. My only real complaint would be the meet and greet experience. They were behind schedule for literally no reason. Kept us lined out outside during the registration time (which is weird because we could have easily waited inside), broke their own rules about attendance, and then rushed us through the greeting process so you would only get one or two sentences with Benee before the photo. The photos were also trash as the photographer just took zoomed out, blurred photos that all require editing. I saw this same quality on multiple people's phones that were there so i know this was not an isolated incident. Rough start to the experience but wouldn't miss this show again

  • so fun

by jas on 6/18/22Theatre of Living Arts - PhiladelphiaRating: 4 out of 5

i had a blast ! sadly i am only 5'3 & it seemed everyone in front of me was 6' or taller but i still had a really good time

  • So disappointing

by Ram yo on 6/17/22House of Blues Boston - BostonRating: 1 out of 5

I feel like this performance was an insult for Benee's fans. Her albums are so professional and so well made, kind of the opposite of this performance. The sound was so awful and she was not even trying to pretend it wasn't a playback. I mean seriously, couldn't you at least record a version of supalonely without the male singer who wasn’t there? It was barely over an hour of her lip syncing to her albums and waiving to the audience occasionally

  • Amazing night at Philadelphia

by Franche on 6/16/22Rating: 5 out of 5

She was just amazing. Honestly one of the best concert I’ve been to. Her vibe, the audience, everything!! We had a blast and she is the sweetest person and extremely cool. I went by myself and had so much fun!!

  • Best show I've been to

    by Terra on 6/9/22Saint Andrew's Hall - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

My expectations were pretty high, and they were somehow still blown out of the water. From the moment Benee came out on stage I knew it'd be unlike any other performance I've seen. I've been to a LOT of concerts and this is the best show I've seen. Her connection to the audience, the band, her humor and of course her voice were all beyond amazing. Overall was a great show and I'd never miss seeing her live in my area!

  • It was awesome!

It was awesome! One of the best concert ever!! The proximity with the public was just wow! It feels like it was a private concert.
