This was such a fun show! I hope he comes back to Charlotte!
My husband and I had a great time at the show. We were laughing so hard at all their jokes. We absolutely loved the show and when he comes back to Charolette we will be at the show. So much fun and we laughed so much.
Such an amazing show! Hoping he will come back to Charlotte
The show was amazing. All 4 comedians were great improvising their scenes and had the audience laughing the entire time.
When I heard Ben Schwartz was coming to Charlotte I immediately bought two tickets for me and my wife. We had first seen what he is capable of because of his Netflix special. Ben and his friends delivered a phenomenal show. It was funny from start to finish. He is so quick witted and the cast with him clearly just as gifted. I really hope he comes back to our city!!!!!
Hilarious show. Ben and friends had the entire auditorium rocking the entire performance. If you’ve never seen long form improve this is the one to see.
The Ben & Friends show was absolutely incredible!! It’s a show made completely on the spot just for the people in the room. Only those who are in the crowd will get to hear and see that particular show. It makes for such a personal and unique moment. Afterwards, my husband and I were very lucky to meet the cast of the show and each of them were very kind and personable.
Ben Schwartz and his merry band of friends were remarkable performers. Their skill in improv is truly breathtaking, and the show that have fabricated is a joyous ride from start to finish. Ovens Auditorium is a fantastic venue for a show like this one. Would definitely see more shows like this in this performing space!
Bought tickets for my husband and didn’t realize it was an improv show. We were pleasantly surprised! It was hilarious 10/10 would recommend
My only reason for not leaving 5 stars was the length. The show was about an hour. Don’t get me wrong, it was absolutely hilarious and I was laughing the whole time. However, we got a babysitter for the night, hotel room, and drove 3 hours to see the show, so I was hoping for a little more. Had I known we’d be done by 9, I could have planned to drive home instead.
Super cool one of a kind experience. 10/10 would buy again.
Performance was excellent and all the performers were hilarious. Only gripe was that the show was at or just under 60 minutes and I was expecting it in the 90+ range.
Fun time - but way too much money and travel time for an improv set that lasted only an hour. We spent more time parking and walking to and fro than the actual show.
The show was excellent! The cast did an amazing job! We had a blast!
Ben Schwartz is the king of improv. I recommend his show to anyone that wants a good laugh. Like a stop breathing, crying, cheaks hurting laugh.
Ben is a master of the form. Quick witted with a strong set of collaborators. So much fun - it’s a pleasure to watch people that clearly love what they do…
Ben and friends is Always hilarious, never lets us down, and is an instant buy the moment it goes on sale. It’s rare someone creates excellence, this is it.
IYKYK - this guy is the best around. Get immersed in the comedy.
I couldn’t rave more about this show. It had me belly laughing for a full hour. Can’t wait for the next one in Seattle.
So I'm a huge fan of Ben Schwartz, he's probably my favorite comedian currently working, and I've seen his show every time he's come to Seattle. Back on 2020, when I saw him, it was probably the hardest I'd ever laughed. Earlier this year, it was still funny but was far more unfocused but still had a narrative. This past show, while still entertaining in its own way, was very scattershot and had no actual story. Part of the enjoyment of the first show was seeing a full story realized through improv, even if it was a bit silly, but this past show was just a series of bits, which was a little disappointing considering how funny I think Ben is.
