Ben Harper is the bomb! He sounds and plays with most emotion and passion I’ve ever seen. Feel truly blessed to witness his genius musical talents!
Ben has been one of my favorite artists for a long time. It is always a treat to hear him live as you never know what you will get but it will always be magic.
The magic in the show was when Ben used his powerful backup musicians. It was rocking at times, but for the most part he decided to sing solo ballads, which didn't resonate with me. I think he should go back to the drawing board and use his strengths, then hit the road.
Ben Harper and his band are all terrific musicians, and they have a large repertory of songs that they've built up over the years. The concert featured loud music, quiet solos, a bit of story-telling, and everything in between. The pacing was great, with the mood and styles shifting seamlessly. I went with my husband and our son and his wife, and we all felt the same way, even though there are many years separating us. The warm-up band was uninspiring, with repetitive lyrics and style.
Beautiful heartfelt performance. Amazing on the slide guitar. Vocals top tier. Don’t miss him if you get the chance.
Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals put onan amazing show. The venue was great. Ben Harper is truly one of the most humble performers. He takes time to tell great stories and is truly appreciative that you attend his show! A class act and great performer!
This performer doesn't get the respect or love deserved due to lack of attention to good music in Cincinnati. Hopefully people get a chance to listen 👂 Harpers style and music message is absolutely love inducing, feet moving, body dancing food for your soul.
Only every other song was worth listening to me. All the sound was too loud (except vocals) and made all the listening “muddy”

Greatest live band of all time!! Have seen Ben Harper over 40 times and sounds the beat he has since the beginning. The Innocent Criminals and him are playing at an all time high level.
Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals played an awesome show Friday night! 🎯 Juan on bass was amazing and both percussionist were fantastic as well. Oppression for the opener was great. Ground on down was strong and Burn One Down was, well, enlightening. Personal highlights - Ben and Juan on bass battling back and forth and Ben screaming lyrics to Diamonds with no mic! 👏🏻 Go see this show if you have the opportunity. Thanks Ben.
It was an amazing concert - Ben and the Innocent Criminals fantastic as always. It was my first time at the Sylvee and it was a really great venue. Fast and easy getting in. Nice intimate venue, but still felt like a "concert". Hope to see more shows here soon.
What a fantastic flashback set for Ben and Criminals!! If you like his earlier material, this show was designed for you! He was more soulful and engaging then I ever remembered him being in the past! He was on point on the slide guitar. The Innocent Criminals solo’s and ability to hold down the sound was brilliant! I also love the Sylvee as a venue! Thanks for all that made this come together😁⭐️👏
Great musicians. One of the best concerts I've experienced. Sound and songs were spot on. I will see BHIC again if they return to Madison.

Trombone Shorty was an awesome preformer. I have seen him before. We didn't end up staying for the full Ben Harper set. He had a more relaxed vibe than the intensity of TS.
All amazing- the venue, the sound, the bands the weather. One of my favorite venues and the experience launched the bands up in my playlist!
Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals is a fantastic band, incredibly talented and tight with great energy and passion for their art. They played some old stuff and new. The venue is great, particularly on a nice night, like this was. My only complaint is that they could not play longer (due to city curfew)!
Saw Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals several years ago. After all these years he still has it! GREAT show. He brings a lot of energy and rocket it! Very enjoyable evening at a great venue.
