I have shared the experience with anyone who would listen at work! It was a spectacular performance. True virtuosos found at the LA Phil! I especially appreciate Maestro Vener's special dialogue allowing the audience to hear bits of history and background, enriching the aural masterpieces! Simply superb.
I had no expectations when I went to this performance. I had never been to the Walt Disney Concert Hall before. It was beautiful and the sound was incredible. The performance was so well done. I really enjoyed the conductor especially his little talks between each piece. It was all wonderful.
We loved the energy of Conductor Victor Vener. He makes the entire concert so playful and fun. The song selections were wonderful since they were all familiar.
Great show, great venue (Disney Hall), great value, great fun. Loved it!
