    Basia amazing as ever

by Anonymous on 6/5/10Wilbur Theatre - Boston

I am a big fan and have been for a long time...unforgettable experience for me in every way, but I also believe it would be hard not to thoroughly enjoy such great music and such a great band..with a top notch and personable front woman...even if you don't know her!

    Basia was great

by BasiaFan on 6/5/10Wilbur Theatre - Boston

Basia remembers her roots, delivers the best .. he band is phenomenal and she generously shares the stage with some great talent. She engages the audience for a full two hours.

    A wonderful show

by Arthurbb on 6/5/10Wilbur Theatre - Boston

Basia's voice is just at powerful as ever, hitting high notes and producing wonderful harmonies. She and Danny White are at the top of their game, giving the audience a hit-filled two hour show. Basia and Danny are hardworking and committed songwriters and performers -- and it shows. The backup band are singers are all top notch musicians in their own right and each was featured with a solo segment during the evening. The energy level was very high and I could see that everyone on stage loved being there. Basia even gave us a 3-song encore. Everyone was satisfied and exhausted when the show (and standing ovation) was over. Have been a Basia fan for over 20 years. Last nights' show only made me a bigger fan. Just great.

    Basia in Boston

by JayJayB on 6/5/10Wilbur Theatre - Boston

Spectacular non-stop, high energy performance by all ! A perfect mix of old and new songs. Three encore songs! I never realized the heavy Bossa Nova influence in almost every song she performed until last evening. It could not have been better! My only dissapointment was the venue. The WILBUR is getting to need a facelift. Soiled and stained seats that are just too small for a grown adult to sit with comfort cast a bit of a shadow on the evening.

    Basia was trying too hard...

by tomaster on 6/5/10Wilbur Theatre - Boston

Supported by great instrumentalists, she tried too hard. When she found her vocals, she tried too hard and often hid her voice behind the instrumental or back up twin vocalists. When featuring her voice she was harsh and patently trying to be coy...

Why did you wait so long?

by shimona on 5/31/10Ruth Eckerd Hall - Clearwater

Basia was as great as ever! However, she needs a better sound tech.Much too loud, sounded as if her band and her voice were trying to see who could drown each other out. Also, love her voice but what was she wearing???? Looked like a plastic garbage bag with sequins with leggings and tiny heels! And that hair! Someone should tell her it's 2010. She definitly needs a stylist. Her back-up singers are beautiful and very talented but they could've used sharper outfits too.

    Basia still has it!

Basia and Bernie were both fantastic but the sound for both was screwed up!

As always, Basia was worth the wait!!!!!

by Sarabarra on 5/31/10Ruth Eckerd Hall - Clearwater

The whole concert was memorable! Bernie Williams is a breath of fresh air and so gracious to the audience. He is very talented and endearing. Basia is such a powerful entertainer and hit those notes right on." We enjoyed the concert hall so much. There is not a bad seat in the house. This is absolutely my favorite venue.

She was remarkable, missed her so much

by Lepster on 5/31/10Ruth Eckerd Hall - Clearwater

I was so looking forward to seeing Basia in concert again. I have all her cd including the newest, my husband came along to see Bernie Williams he was blown away by Basia and how many songs he's heard throughout the years played in our home and car. I was so thrill to be part of this event. Wishing Basia all the best in her tour and hope you don't stay away too long.

    Basia Was Fantastic

by JPerezio on 5/31/10King Center for the Performing Arts - Melbourne

Basia was great - and very gracious. She sang many old favorites. I would have liked to hear a few more off of her new album, but I think she must have thought we'd prefer the older songs. Her band was also excellent. Don't miss it if you can get there - I travelled from VA to FL to hear her.

    Basia blew us away

by Gemma1 on 5/30/10King Center for the Performing Arts - Melbourne

This wonderful singer has not missed a note since her last concert tours! She said "I'm amazed that you remember me after 16 years of a break"....well honey, you've never sounded better! There was so much musical talent on the stage it was difficult to take it all in, although they did spotlight each musician a number of times. Basia is a humble and sweet person and her music is a beautiful as she is. Don't miss BASIA in concert !

    Basia show awesome!

by Basia1fan on 5/30/10King Center for the Performing Arts - Melbourne

The show at Melbourne May 29, 2010 was an absolute treat! Never before have I seen an artist who could reproduce her sound so impeccably. Note for note it was amazing! We were treated to all of her fabulous songs I know so well from her Basia on Broadway CD. The audience was on their feet and demanded an encore. Welcome back Basia and YES YOU DO DESERVE IT girl. Thank you for sharing your gift with the world. I love choreographing your beautiful songs! In fact would love to see more costuming and dance incorporated. You deserve the icing. We have all gained a bit of weight. Get out of the black clothes. This is not a time of mourning - it is a time to rejoice! Too much self-depreciation. Here is you confidence - take it. Shine on woman! This show is a MUST SEE!

    Basia still has it!

by BarbM53 on 5/30/10King Center for the Performing Arts - Melbourne

Basia and her band/backup singers were very good at the King Center in Melbourne on 29 May. She sang all of her hits and added some from her latest album, too. My only complaint is that the mics were a little too loud...but it was worth a little tinnitis to see and hear Basia perform again!

    Love Basia's Music

by Benr2134 on 5/30/10King Center for the Performing Arts - Melbourne

It was good to finally enjoy the music of Basia live. I have enjoyed her music on CD for many years. The performance was terrific and the music unforgettable. The band musicians were simply the best! Truly amazing!
